Excellent point Joanne! I've received at least five e-mails with "important" information in the past month that turned out to be false when checked with Snopes.com. Mostly of the false e-mails were regarding security and medical issues.

I don't know why people like to author and circulate false and misleading information but they do. It does pay to check out information with Snopes before forwarding it.

Good point, Bare. I had alot of e-mails, as I'm sure many did, during the election that were not completely true when checked out.

I learned my lesson
