It would take a book to answer. You will have to wait until my memoirs are published. Look for them, "Memoirs of a Saint." ;D

Do you realize how hard it is to train a man and keep him trained????? I am way to tired to start that again. My answer is no, (repeated into infinity). I have the best right now. There will be no replacement. I will have my girlfriends and "sisters".

Being the wise woman (?) I am, I'll never say never but it would be hard to imagine marrying again. Tried it, didn't like it, probably way too set in my ways at this point. A non-live-in relationship might be nice but even that's not necessary.

Nonie
I thought the question, especially for here in TV, was great and how he got "caught" was even better. I rather keep this in the "dream" world and just let your mind think about it. As to how this would play out in real life, I doubt if most could answer truthfully, because most of us live in "todays" world with partners who are there and we know.....for "better or worse." Time would only tell !! |

Caroline, Of course your right, but lets not be too philosophical and have some fun with it, I know alot of people are going to be afraid to answer this but then theres those who will come up with the perfect answer.

I agree there is no perfect answer and I would never say "never" (as I am only 50) but it is not even on my "radar screen". I was married once but I live a full and happy life, am financially able to care for myself and really just enjoy having people of both sexes as friends. I come and go as I please. Not a bad life at all...

I'm with Susan on this. I have an incredible husband. I fear no one could ever match him. When you have had the best, who wants to go backwards? I will make a life with my friends if he is taken from me.

My answer is probably no. I agree with Susan, too much effort to retrain a man at this stage of my life. Girlfriends will be my companions.
I struck gold the first time, what are the chances of that happening again. Only one way I might consider it ( We women have a right to change our minds). If I found a very caring...... and very wealthy...... man to take care of me, and was willing to honor my independence. : ![]() ![]()

I doubt it. I met hubby when I was 16 and he was 21. I knew that day we would always be together. We are having our 34th anniversary this June. Training was difficult, but I persevered. Compromise was a gimme. The chances of meeting a loving, kind, funny, smart, spontaneous, handsome, caring guy like I have probably would never ever ever happen again. We are very very happy. So if I am the one left alone, I would not want or need to be married. I barely ever dated!!! It would be impossible for any man to compare to my best friend, my soulmate, my husband. So I doubt it, sistahs are the best, but I also never say never. You never know what the future and life can throw at you.
