Merry Christmas to all and a very Happy New Year!
I agree 100% but some wish to distort the truth by claiming he was not middle eastern.

And that's why my TV has a remote. I can pick and choose my watching/listening. They, too, are entitled to think whatever they want. I don't have to be or become like-minded.

(Remember the days when you actually had to get up, go over to the TV, and change the channel!?!)

Default All We Need To Know

This is all we need to know. and who are we to question anything really? There is always someone wanting to argue and try to make others believe they have all the answers or questions even.
Not one of us can change even one little thing except what we believe in our own heart and our own actions.

Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Merry Christmas to All and May We Pray That God Will Have Mercy And Bless Our Country Once Again

Like I said in my previous post I can't find any better way to bring up the issue of race than to clarify something like this.

I would be more pleased if people were discussing some of the wise counsel passed on by Jesus rather than his nationality or origin .

I do remember those days, but I also remember what is is like to be a responsible person and since I am the OP on this thread, it is my responsibility to stay tuned and not run away.

I am not sure what exactly the OP watches, nor do I care, but it is pretty obvious that this is a political thread and was from the start.

If we are allowed to bring outrageous statements from any channel on here, please post that because I got a bunch of them.

This is a political thread !!!

mean spirited and sarcastic must obviously mean having a difference of opinion or position or anyone who disagrees with anything stated.

Obviously!.

Good point. I did not mean this as political at all, but if you see it that way, maybe Gracie is correct that it should be closed. I am the least political person in the villages. I just have problems with a lie no matter whom it comes from.

You said a mouthful there, but be nice as I don't think he meant it that way.

It should be deleted and you should be penalized for defiance of rules

If you want to discuss a network...fine, but do it in context

If you want to bash someone.....I dont go for it but do it, BUT DO IT IN CONTEXT.

You mention someone by name without giving the full context or discussion....this was a set up using...well, whatever.

Discussion is talking about some issue IN CONTEXT and fully disclosed. You hid behind an agenda of yours concerning the network or a party and allowed folks to think it was a serious discussion of biblical proportion. THAT is quite sad

Would you be ok with a lie from another network and another political persuasion....I think not

However, if you are, and the moderators allow, I got a bunch of them

I can think of a number of "true believers" who would change their beliefs drastically if presented with indisputable evidence that Christ was black.
The article, while interesting, contains one giant error in stating that the color of black people becomes white in three generations and vice versa. If that is the case how do descendants of slaves, here for ten generations or more in some cases, remain black (provided they are not of mixed heritage). Egregious errors like that in what purports to be a scholarly piece destroy the credibility of the author and all the "facts" presented. To me, it is a non issue, but to many it would be huge.
Thoughtful post on the OP original statements.

Several thoughts:
1. This is the time of the season when people are especially nice to one another. This feeling, should be carried throughout the year. IMHO
2. Most of the trouble in the world has started over religious beliefs. Especially, in the middle east with many wars, starting over religion.
3. Everyone should be have tolerance, for another's point of view.
4. Everyone will believe what they feel in their heart, no matter how many facts are thrown at them.

Fvaorite bible sayings is:

"Let us not grow weary while doing good aswe reap in due season if we do not lose heart".

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a properous New Year for everyone.

Nice post, but this was never about the theme of your post.

The OP HID...literally hid behind to make an attack on a network by making everyone believe this was a true discussion. THEN, he said others were mean...what is meaner than hiding your issue, which was political from the beginnins.

If it was not political, a full disclosure would have been made of what he was trying to talk about but that may not have been allowed and he knew it.

Character is not abundant sometimes
