Default Tsarnev sentenced to death

In my opinion, this is so wrong. Why did the defense not put this kid on the stand to say "my brother made me do it"? He is the only one who could say that and make the jury believe him.

He is a TERRORIST, not a mere "extremist" as confused, illogical ENABLERS are calling him.

Cut the crap and get real.

Maybe because he was a willing participant and now wants to be a martyr.

Should have made the dirtbag spend the rest of his life in solitary. Now, he's a martyr.

On the one hand, why should the American taxpayers give this person 3 hots, a cot and medical care for the next 60+ years? On the other hand, now this person will be a martyr, which is probably his ultimate goal.

So how do we win (I know this isn't the appropriate word, but I don't know the correct word to use.) ?

Seriously? I wouldn't have believed him.

Being sentenced to death and actually being executed are different things. The last person executed in massachusetts was in 1947.

But the fact is this was a federal trial and he will be transferred out of Taxachusetts to prison. It will likely the federal prison in Terra Haute. He'll have some appeals, etc., but I think he will eventually be killed in Federal custody.

What he did was so wrong. His punishment is well deserved.

Exclamation Simple Question

I have a simple question for those in favor of the death penalty. The question is "would you pull the switch". If not then you have no position on the subject. I know I could not pull the switch and therefore I could not vote for it nor should I ever serve on a jury that is hearing a death penalty case. It is easy to vote for the penalty but not have to execute the act It is another to vote for it and be willing to pull the switch.

Being a martyr when your dead does you no good.

I hope this does not offend anyone, but I was disappointed he made it out of the boat at all. There are some things that occur that I simply do not care the reason.

This attitude is my cross to bear... and I will ask for forgiveness at the appropriate time....

I understand completely.
