Absolutely! I am on my way out the door as soon as I relate an odd experience I had this morning. I guess you could say it was an odd-happy surprise.
I'll try putting it in a separate thread. Stay tuned.

The philosophical view of this happiness is different in the western hemisphere vis a vis other parts of the world. For some some cultures life is sorrow and so for those limited moments of happiness each should be fully embraced and appreciated. Despite culture, the definition of happiness may mean different things for each of us. Personally I believe every aspect of living should be met with humility and courage. Understanding that pain in life alerts us to the fact that our body or mind is in danger and needs attention. A sad event such as the loss of love or life teaches us not to take anyone or anything for granted. That day on which you played the best round of golf in your life reminds you that life can be good. And that so close to death experience reminds us how precious life really is. I personally believe that maintaining balance in life helps the lows as not being too low and the highs not too high because in that way you really do have a better view of what is happening to you at that moment in time.

I opine you decide.
