Default Thoughts for your friend

Sorry about your friend. As a Newbie I did not have the privelage of reading her posts.

From what I read she must have been a special friend to TOTV

My friend since college is also at this moment fighting a cancer battle.

It know how it hurts to stand by and feel somewhat helpless.

I remember Donna's posts too. Wasn't she an EMT at one point in her life? She always posted good info. I will keep her in my prayers. Please keep us posted about her condition and let her know that many of us are sending her healing thoughts and prayers.

I met Donna during my second visit to TV in '07 where we organized an informal "meet and greet" at Dunkin Donuts (which was the origination to the Crispers lunch). We were a total of 6 people, I think, at that event and from there it evolved to a meeting every time a few of us were in town.
My friendship with Donna has been ongoing all these years, and we shared many, many happy and sad moments together, thankfully, most of the times were extremely funny and we had tremendous laughs on the chat room (which is no longer).
I love my friend and am so thankful to TOTV for allowing me to meet her and have her in my life. I will miss my friend but I will talk to her daily because as she said to me, We are friends for Life!!!

Donna and you were some of the first people who made me feel welcomed here on TOTV.

Sorry to hear that she is very ill. I had been wondering what happened with Donna as I had not seen her post in a while.

My prayers will be with her and you.

KathieI, thanks for letting us know so we can send up our prayers for Donna. I've missed her posts and wondered where she's been. I remember meeting with ya'll a couple years ago at Havana CC. Donna and her daughter Donna were very welcoming to me. I'm so sorry to hear of her struggle and will keep her family and loved ones in my prayers. Please keep us posted.

Default Peace for the journey

May you have peace to go through these final days with Donna.

To find a kindred spirit is very rare........to lose one, very difficult.

I've lost quite a few in my lifetime and can empathize with what you must be going through now. If there truly is no chance for a recovery, then let's hope that she will have a peaceful ending. A close friend of mine had the morphine drip at the end, when she was struggling to breathe (same disease) and it eased her passing. Another, a dear cousin of mine had lung cancer and subsequent surgery at age 60 and lived until 91, passing peacefully, sitting up in a chair until his son from Maine arrived......they then put my cousin to bed, gave him the morphine and he passed very peacefully. He was a wonderful guy and I still miss him, as I do all my lady friends who have passed.........way too young.

Maybe Donna will "visit" you afterward. My mom did, for the first several months after she passed........she visited in my dreams and always looked happy and "young"........that's how I knew she was very much O.K.
Believe !

I'll keep you and Donna in my prayers and thoughts.

Gosh, thanks for posting Kathi. I remember Donna from way back and was also wondering why she hasn't posted in quite a while. So sad. I will definitely keep her in my prayers.

Our sweet beautiful Donna is in our thoughts and prayers constantly. We pray for a gentle passing and for her to have the knowledge that she is so loved by God and all of us here. We will hold the happy memories of time spent with her forever.
