ok!
Actually this is a very funny thread. My hubby does not know truth from lies. He leaves his well worn socks and underwear abou 8 inches from the laundry basket. Now how much effort would it take to take one more step so they make it into the laundry basket?? Then he claims without a doubt that he put them in the basket!!

eeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!! Drives me totally up the wall!

hes gonna kill me!

So, the clerk finishes ringing up and bagging everything and says to the person, "That's be $24.67." It's like the customer never considered that she'd have to pay for the stuff. Only then does she open her bag and dig out her purse. God forbid she has to write a check, 'cuz then it's find the checks and find a pen. Others have money in hand while the clerk is ringing up the stuff or have the check 2/3 filled out before they get to the front of the line. This person seems surprised every time.
Oh guys, I totally agree!! And, your right, its always a woman!!! Then I love, after she writes the check, she reconciles the checkbook before handing the check to the cashier. I don't think she has a "clue" how to speed things up.

Skip, I've never seen your example but I'm sure its happened plenty of times!!

Biggest Pet Peeve is grocery store lines!!! And I hear that Florida is worse than L.A., better take more Prozac!!!

What is it with men and their tea cups?

Mine is the same Chels! New cup for each new drink, but the twist here is they are all left on his desk. I collect them every couple of days. Ugh.............

Then there is the socks not in the laundry basket thing, find them everywhere cause the dog likes to take them and hide them. Is there a message there?

It sounds like the women are hijacking another thread. This is supposed to be pet peeves, not thinks I don't like about my husband. I haven't heard one man complain about his wife. Now ladies let's be fair and open minded. Stick to the peeve please.

Beady are you sure we're not married to the same man??? Yes, I call it having a "Cup Sweep" I'll say, "OK, let's have a cup sweep of the house". And I didn't want to mention the underwear, but their EVERYWHERE! What is the story on that? One time found a pair in the car! Still trying to get the real story on that. He says they fell out of his workout bag!

Muncle:

Aren't you glad to be single, while this thread bashes husbands??? :joke:

More or less on subject, I'll agree that the little old lady is a peeve. Before I came down here, I used to shop at a store where, all too frequently, the bus from the local very up-scale retirement home dropped half the home's population at the front door. Not a one of them could push a cart without staying in the very center of the aisle. And, they were often seen clustered together trying to figure out where the cereals are, or whatever. And, most of them had been to the same store every week for years!

Ah, well, we too shall probably be there!

I would assume that the dishwasher does the washing and drying of the dishes. Now teach him to put them away in the cubbard. Maybe he will get the idea after he puts way a few cups.

OK OK I'VE HEARD ENOUGH !!!
What about the curling iron always plugged into my wall socket because her's is full of nite lites , air fresheners , elec. clocks , weather radio back up radio, ultra sonic tooth brush cleaner, ultra sonic jewellery cleaner, small tv for the THE TODAY SHOW ,(this morning she chuckled that Jane Paulie is a card and what ever happened to Dave Garroway) battery charger for her camera, her hearing aid, and a radiant heater ............ I've been so worried I finally called an electrician . He wouldn't come into the house , he thought it would explode at any moment .........
And you have the nerve to complain about 5 lousy cups of tea and underware discarded everywhere ..............I'm shocked ,,,,
REMEMBER , ITS TEA THAT WILL KILL YOU .... :-* :

dixie cup fumar
