Thanks. I know the 240Z. Nice car but not my taste. I apologize for my inaccurate remark re the value of Asian cars.

I brought my Scion in for 60k service visit. Since Scion was a subsidiary of Toyota and Scion no longer is Scion, I brought it to the Toyota dealership in Leesburg. Only two things I was dissatisfied about:
1. They don't wash the car when they're finished - that was a perk of going to a dealership up north, no matter which car and which dealership. It's a little "thanks for paying extra to come to us, when you could've gotten quality aftermarket products and had the local greasemonkey do it for half the price." 2. They tried to tell me I need a new battery. Pro-tip: they ALWAYS try to sell me a new battery. Even a year after I had the battery replaced, they insisted my voltage was low and it had to be replaced. The battery is working just fine, I have zero problem starting the car, ever. I'll probably have it replaced next year anyway because it's old. Hopefully by then I'll be able to afford a newer model car anyway - this is a 2010. Other than some pockmarks from lovebugs, random minor scratches and a few pinky-sized dings, and a rust spot on the passenger floorboard where I scraped it against a hard-packed snowbank on the way out of my driveway the year we had 6 feet piled up in the yard, the darned thing is in perfect condition. I can't kill it. If it were a 1972 VW bug I wouldn't mind. But it's a freakin Scion. With no arm rest. Anyway, no problem with the Toyota dealer in Leesburg. |

Got a great deal in lees burg, having done my homework on my trade etc. no bs at all. Plus they extend the bumper to bumper warranty from Toyota. Tried in Ocala, but they tried to sell me a vehicle I was clear about not wanting, and I had to get loud in the showroom to get my keys back for my vehicle that I was trading. Nearly $6000 added to marsh, offered me $5000 less on my trade, and I had to block the salesman’s cell phone as he was calling every day. Ran all the way back to leesburg that day.
