Whew!!!
Truer words were never spoken!!
Truthfully, I thought the heat and humidity would keep many peeps away, but we had a tremendous turnout. But 1/2 way through the celebration, the sky opened up to torrential rains, thunder and lightening. F16 (Bless his soul) decided to play the part of Tom Hanks in Cast Away and through off his shirt, grew a beard and started on the ark!! Whatta man he is.. We knew we didn't have to worry too much because we had bathroom facilities and food but we thought we'd never get out of there. Stranded until 5:30pm, some of the smart ones left a little early before the rains came but for the rest of us, it was hang around until its all over.

Thank goodness, my love, Ronnie was there, so I was hoping we wouldn't get out for days, but unfortunately the rain stopped and we all went home Pictures forthcoming after the dancing tonight at Havana. So hang onto your hats, I promise to post them soon.

Betti, why weren't you there? I didn't wear my boa but I did do a dance !!!

OMG Kathie, by the time I get down there you are going to be a size 2 from all your dancing, and if I keep eating 1/2 gallons of iccream at a sitting Im gonna be well....................

Glad your luncheon was a big success today, did 16 really take off his shirt and start building an ark?????

I will be waiting for pictures with baited breath!!!

I had planned to get to Crisper's but at the last minute, wifey found a dinning room set. You know how it is.

You know with all the lightning storms, maybe Kathie got stuck at Havana and is being forced to dance until the storms let up.
