OK, I will be arriving soon from NY. Who among you dare to say " You can not come here to save your life". ?

well, hear me out.

Solution 1 ; Test everybody in USA - quarantine every positive people until they become negative. No people come in unless they are tested and proven negative. Problem solved.

Solution 2 : Let everybody go around do their business as usual, open up schools, restaurants, business and all. No masks, no soicial distancing, no restriction what so ever. Assume everyone is going to get the virus anyway. Concentrate all our effort and national resources to Hospitals, Ventilators, Recovery rooms, Vaccine development, fast self tests (maybe we don't even need this) etc.. 90% recovers with not so much of ill effect, 10% goes to well equipped hospitals with ventilators since we don't have to worry about spreading anymore... ( quietly, 1% dies. That is 3 million people )..

I said most, not every. I personally know many NY's with Florida plates. I hardly see any NY plates here at all.

I am appalled by this post. Hope you’re not one of the 1% but if you are - oh well - because that’s your cavalier attitude over the loss of 3 million people.

I am not suggesting they can/should be done. Any brighter ideas?

Exactly! Just look at the ones still upset over the pools being closed here. They were given the chance to be responsible and weren't. I don't do the pools, so it's a moot point to me. I was taught at a very early age that actions have consequences. But then, I'm old and things were very different "back in my day".

Yes. Self-isolate or stay 6 feet away like a responsible adult

Daily presidential COVID-19 briefing mentioned the model predicted 2.2M death without proper action. I guess I overshot the number a bit.
