This booster seemed to take forever. The last time we could see the booster come down, it was even better view

We can see most of the launches from our driveway and it’s always great. This evening, I wasn’t sure which was the booster for awhile, and when I saw the puff of condensation (?), smoke (?), it briefly brought back bad memories of Challenger.

I had same problem, couldn’t tell at first which was the booster or the rocket. But, after I saw the separation I could tell. Seems like the booster keep going up for quite awhile. Lost it till it re-lite to slow it down.

Was at Evans Prairie to view the launch and then to view the first burn and then the final landing burn of the 1st stage as it returned to the cape. Because of the sun angle and darkness approaching, it was a sight to behold.

We saw our first launch tonight, pretty cool, at least there were no cruise ships tonight. We saw it pretty good out in our back yard.

Get the Space Launch Schedule app for your phone. Most launches will direct you to the YouTube feed to see the different phases of the launch once it is initiated.

As Woodbear said get the space launch schedule app. I just downloaded it and it shows you all upcoming launches. You can filter by location. There’s one this afternoon.
