Default Grandson

I emailed the site to my grandson. He called tonight to say that he'd seen it, and he was blown away. Thanks for posting about it, and, Tony, thanks for
the great pic.

It is upside down. In our sky the planets are on the bottom and the moon is different. I guess Australia really is opposite from us...they are upside down...or are we?

Anyway it was very cool (literally) to go outside to view this sky.

Yes the planets were beneath the moon here. Beautiful clear night to see such a phenomena. Thanks, Tony......

And how was it where I am? Let's just say the view of the conjunction was blocked by the clouds that brought me eight inches of snow this morning.

This tells you something about anyone who gets excited about two specks of light in the sky. Here in the southwest, where the sky is crystal clear, I can see millions of lights in the sky and they all look about the same to me. I hope some day to have as much celestial emotion as Tony so that I can be excited about one light more than another. At first I thought I was seeing two guys looking for nightcrawlers on the hillside. Now that I know what it really is, I can hardly contain myself.
