I saw a Beauty Rest commercial on TV...briefly but saw that it had a section that was cooling and the coils were wrapped individually I believe. It looked well designed and constructed. I need to google it I suppose.

You can now have them both in a Tempur Pedic.

We purchased a king size Tempur Pedic at Mattress Firm approx 3 months ago which is a brand new model that has controls for each side to adjust firmness in both the upper and lower regions of your body. Each person can adjust their own side to their likeness.

I don't have the model name or number handy but just stop by or call Mattress Firm for info.

We've had our sleep number for 10 years and will NEVER go back. It's the only piece of furniture we brought when we moved here! Before the sleep number my hubby would wake up every morning moaning and groaning with aches and pains but not after sleeping on the sleep number! We've made converts of our children and friends too! There has been some talk about mold problems but I've checked ours and found none!

Wow, lots of responses!!
But no consensus! It seems that people either love or hate each of these. So you guys really weren't very helpful!! Haha!
I guess we will have to do some shopping around and see what we think. I just hate to make an expensive mistake! I have made enough of those in my life!
Thanks for your responses. I am just tired of buying mattresses that start to sag and have depressions after a couple of yrs. The research continues.....

I feel exactly like you do about not wanting to buy another expensive mattress that had saggy spots after a couple of years. I had a Tempur Pedic pillow that I just loved and found very comfortable so I wanted to try the beds, however by the time we were ready for a new mattress my pillow had broken down in spots and had saggy spots. I was afraid of that happening in my mattress also. My in laws have the Sleep Number and love theirs and my husband talked me into getting one. From the first I could feel the baffles under me. I had to sleep on sheepskin and also an extra quilt folded in half under me and still I could feel it. My husband said it was like "the Princess and the Pea". I could never get comfortable but my husband always loved his side. Unlike everyone else, when I slept in the middle of our king size bed I was much more comfortable. Just this week we bought an additional high density foam to go inside our bed (its also a pillow top) and it's finally ok and I can say that I do like it and I am comfortable at last.
The BEST sleep is a 20 year old queen size Serta in our guest room that we replaced many years ago when we got a king size. They don't make them like they used to I guess.

We bought a i10 sleep number in July and are loving it. We started with a Full King but after a few nights of me wanting to watch late night TV in a upright position and the MRS wanting to lay down, we converted to a Split King. Love the ability to go soft after 18 holes or firmer when I need to. After a Serta Queen, having a King is awesome. Of course the MRS hit me up for a Sleigh Bed as well to finish it off.
