Katy Perry is not Jesus to anyone and Musk is looking to make big bucks in the future. Probably angling for missions to Mars supported by NASA. He could probably charge big bucks for tourists going to Mars. Maybe they will have casinos, pools, and race tracks like a miniature Monaco.

No. The Karman Line is identified as the 100 kilometers altitude internationally recognized as the altitude above which one enters space.

At that point, one officially becomes an astronaut.
