Restaurants are trying to stay alive and many do not have this take out thing down. They serve mostly in house and are probably doing the best they can. That being said, I am not interested in waiting in line with a hundred people to get my food. Cook at home. People on line are responsible for their own behavior. Life will certainly have to get back to normal. If you are that afraid, you will have to stay home but you cannot tell other people that they cannot leave their homes and live normally. We have lost enough of our freedoms. Just a reminder, the numbers in the Villages are pretty low and this virus does NOT have a 100% mortality rate.

Please support our restaurants. Pray we continue to have 0 deaths be thankful we only had 2 new cases yesterday and 1 the day before. Although this is very good news, be careful of those that would print headlines that say "Sumter county had a 50% increase in the number of cases"

And although the media tends to dramatize information the FACT is, this virus is a killer. Look at the number of deaths, and we're not even done the "first wave." Is social distancing and mask wearing in public too much to ask?? Fact is this virus is spread from person to person. We won't have NORMAL until there's a vaccine, but if we follow the CDC guidelines maybe we can at least get back to work until normal is attainable.
Well said.

People do not seem to understand that the masks are primarily to protect others from you in case you are an non or pre symptomatic carrier. Your decision to not wear a mask doesn’t put you at risk as much as it threatens the lives of everyone around you.

There are a number of posts on different sites about people not wearing masks, standing too close, not obeying the 10 person limit, etc. My question to all you complainers is that you know this is how it will be so why do you go out? Is it just to complain and feel self-righteous? You can have have everything delivered and never have to leave your house except for doctor visits.

And, if even the idea of going out to your doctor is too scary, you can do a TeleHealth visit.

What do you expect for takeout food but you still paid for it. Just get ready and wait for what's coming.
Currently slaughter houses are closing down although temporary due to COVID19, farmers are euthanizing hogs beef chicken you might be paying market prices soon.
And higher prices at grocery store prepare for the rush. We have been waiting 5 weeks for spartan amounts of toilet paper, clorox and handsanitiser.

Am I the only one who wonders if the persons who are cooking and packaging the food people pick up or have delivered are not shedding Covid-19? It is a fact that many people do not have symptoms.

Now that guy is going to call me paranoid again. I don't know if I am up to it today...……..

No you're not the only one, but I don't like takeout anyway, food gets cold and then you dry it out reheating. Plus you pay restaurant prices without restaurant ambience, presentation...just a styrofoam container.

I don't think you get covid 19 by eating it, stomach enzymes kill it. Inhaling it is a different story.

Oh yea on the drive back home Arnold Palmer’s patio was jammed no social distancing there either.
Here’s your Red Sauce pic....

So, are you saying it has been over-hyped all over the world? We are certainly not the only country affected, and we are being told to take precautions similar to others around the globe.

Thumbs down The True Ones

The true idiots are the ones who refuse to wear a mask and believe they are "tough" and don't need them. They just don't understand the mask is to protect the other guy and not there to protect the "tough guy"!! You can't fix stupid!!!

That shows that all these businesses must have a plan to comply with social distancing before they open up. I Also think that they should be clear, No mask no food. Lines should have some spacing cues like 5 feet spaces painted on the pavements.
