GG, I didn't know about that site and I just read a few of the losers' posts there. They're sick. Sick as the devil. They'll choke on their own poison one day.

Sad as it is, it's quite laughable how they sit there posting and accusing people here of being "old" losers with no other friends. They should be looking in the mirror. It's a grotesque sight for normal people to behold.

You have countless friends that are real friends. Ignore those losers.

Let us know the name of the forum site to which you refer. Maybe if enough of your friends on TOTV complain to the forum admin, we can get the foul mouth idiots banned and that forum's standards raised to demand civility. If that does not work, then we could let their advertisers know that we will boycott their businesses if they do not leverage the forum to do the "right thing".

Gracie -- Just say No! I'm relatively new here. I don't know you and I don't know who Helene is. But I read your posts all the time and even when I may not agree with you, you are a lady when you respond or make a comment and you have many fans, including me.

Don't give in to this other person's cowardice! That's probably what they want you to do. Stand tall and simply glare at them (her or whomever?) when you see them. Let them know that you win and they are the losers.

Gracie, it seems incredible that anyone would say anything negative about a nice, pleasant, positive person such as you. Your humor and wisdom is something I look forward to in your posts. Doing harm to anyone as nice as you is as maddening as it gets. If you can, please reach into that bottomless well of wisdom and yes, even grace, that only you possess and find a way not leave us. Gracie Girl,

This is my first post to the TOTV. My wife and I bought a house in The Villages last July. We are still working and will not be able to move to TV for a few years. There has not been a day go by that I don't read the TOTV to see what is going on and to get a feel for our future home.

Gracie, you above all others, have been such a wonderful leader on the board and an incredible source of information. You have shown such great wisdom, understanding, and kindness. I have seen the great respect that people have for you and your wise words.

I know you were a teacher. The young people whose lives you touched during those years are so incredibly fortunate. My wife and I are both teachers. We know how frustrating it can be on certain days. Please, please, Gracie, think of this unfortunate experience as just a bad day at school. I am sure that you occasionally had a bad day and wondered if it was all worth it. Then you went to school the next day and saw the impact you made on your students and realized how rewarding it was. Please apply those thoughts and experiences to this one. We are your students and we need you!

Gracie, I certainly know how you feel, FIRST HAND. If you read TOPIX from the beginning, you will see that I was attacked also, someone used my name to post some absolutely awful things that would never come out of my mouth and I was also personally attacked by some others on there. I was so devastated, I withdrew from TOTV for quite awhile and had a terribly emotional time with it all. It was a very bad experience for me so I can understand what you are going through.

What I did was to take a break, I left the forum for awhile, probably a month or two, and did other things, anything that would make me happy. Lunches with friends, walking among the beautiful areas here in the villages, watching the birds, enjoying the dogs and the people, just forgetting what mean-spirited people there are out there. At the same time, I received so many private messages from good friends on TOTV who let me know how they really felt about me, how much they enjoyed my posts, enjoyed how I helped to organize the meet and greets for new people and also organize the monthly Crispers lunches. It gave me such a sense of worth and love and support that I came back to TOTV slowly and with some trepidation because I was scared, but I did it and I'm glad I did. I know its hard, but please try to ignore those mean people, they are just jealous. Believe me, its true.

Just hug Helene, Sweetie and the wonderful pussy cats, and enjoy your life here and don't be hung up on a computer, its really not worth it. Stay well.
