Revere hit by tornado - Metro - The Boston Globe
I have seen the effects and devastation of Tornados (first Hand).

My father's car was thrown 500'; a tornado passed over the building he was in. 1/4 mile north a farm was leveled. Yet he survived.

Initially you see shock and then the community begins to assess the damage and rebuild their lives. Then comes the recognition that the material things that you possessed aren't nearly as important as the lives of family and friends.

And the simple thing becomes more important:

Today's Daily Sun, 7/29/14, had an article about the tornado.

Well we were in the area and there were certainly dark clouds and several storms. We were not in Revere but in Marblehead at the time. About 10 miles from the storm damage. Only a small breeze and heavy rain in Marblehead. Have not gone to Revere since this happened but not even in the news now. Could not have been that bad or it would have stayed newsworthy.
