Looks like I will miss the luncheon again. I hope some day I will be able to meet the many great people who have shared so much through TOTV.

The scheduled luncheon is held every third Friday of every month at 3 PM at Crispers in the Southern Trace Shopping Mall.

Some order something to eat and others just get a drink. Actually 3:00 is really between lunch and dinner, but that's the way it was when I got here.

I really wish I could be there! But will be driving to the airport for the redeye to Bonaire for some scubadiving for two weeks. One day, I will make it, didn't know about it till now. I think it's a wonderful way to meet people and gosh!, I will be there someday. You guys and gals are great!

Just a word of explanation about the 3PM lunch time.

Back in 2007, when we started the TOTV lunch, I talked to the Crispers Manager to discuss times. We were expecting somewhere between 5 and 50 people at the first lunch! The Manager felt that 3 PM would be a good time because it wouldn't be too busy then, even in Snowbird Season. And everyone would be able to easily find a seat. He was most accommodating and offered to have extra staff come in on the third Friday of the month for the lunch.

I'm a seasonal resident so I'm never there in the summer. But I can tell you from personal experience, GO! It's a great place to meet new friends!!
