A lot of new areas in TV aren't yet on the GPS...

I can't get from St. James to Pennecamp without my GPS.
Of course, suffering from DBD (Dumb Blond Disease) doesn't help.

Do the toll takers still wear the festive tropical shirts? Love those, makes me feel vacationish.

This is the way I went. 301 dumps you out right on 466a and then straight to the Village of Sanibel. Perfect for me.

What are you going to do when you get those old 60's Corvettes that register 160 MPH on the speedometer?
Don't ask me how I know they will actually do that fast! You have to get them on the road and 'blow them out'.
I'll bet Carguys knows!

I used to cry for most of the flight (2 3/4 hours) because I was so scared! Now, It makes me sleep and I fly just fine. My husband is a "white knuckle" flyer. Every time there's a bump he grabs the arm rest with white knuckles! The little pill calms him enough too.
Are you sure it's a good idea to drive after taking Xanax? I don't post much on TOTV, but I read it constantly. I read all your postings, and feel like I know you LOL. As a fellow New Yorker, and a fairly new Frog here in TV, (4 months), I'd hate to see anything happen. Please be careful when driving here after taking Xanax. When you're here, I know you'll have a wonderful time. Ciao for now. Trish

Hi Sadie1313. By the time I land in MCO the Xanax has worn off. I only take 1/2 one! My husband drives and he's good. We are not ones to take any kind of pills if we don't have to but flying is so difficult for us that we need to take the stress off. I promise we'll be careful and my husband and I love each other so much we'd never endanger on another. If we didn't feel right to drive, we'd wait until we felt 100%! I'm a nervous Nelly when it comes to car rides too so unless he's on top of his game while driving, it's a no go! Thanks for looking out for us. I'll post when I get to TV so you all know we make it safely.

CaptJon, IF that car goes that fast you can bet I won't be in it!! My husband doesn't want it for the speed he just likes the look of them to tootle around in.
Friends of ours have a Shelby Cobra and my husband took a ride in it at Christmas time and he went 80, way slower than this car and haul. He wasn't fond of the speed but loved the car! I guess we are pansy race car people!!
