Got a portable radio (big deal back in the day). I also got luggage for my senior trip to DC. (No cruises, or trips to Disney back then.)

It came a few months later - a letter from the President. It started with "Greeting:...." It provided me with a new job, new clothes and a chance to travel to exotic lands....
