YES, that is Jack in the photo - he loves to run and play with his toys in the yard; and NO, it's not his doghouse..... (he lives inside) .... that's the pump house, where the well is located

He looks great ConeyIsBabe. Pump house reminds me a doghouse I used to find myself in on occasion.

Thanks ConeyIsBabe. Now I know I have at least one person on my side!

I like that word "rascal" that you used; another member recently called me a "masher".

Who Me?

Thursday evening ... the weather in downstate NY this evening is just fine, thank you. The chilly weather seems to have departed and the 7-day forecast is for upper 50's to low 60's. In fact, the overnight temp is supposed to higher than the high temperature during the day yesterday and today. And I noticed that the temperatures are very nice in the North-Central states, too.

But, for those of us who are not in Central Florida ... what's the forecast for you folks, please.

What a great afternoon/evening the weather was for the kiddies to go trick or treating. It was so much fun to see the costumes and not coats hiding them. While out walking my Murphy I was fortunate enough to go near the elementary school and watch the costume parade in the school yard while all the proud parents looked on. Really great and really cute.

Frost is on the ground and the pumpkins! It's about 38 degrees now. Super sunny and blue skies. Squirrels are all over picking up nuts. Suppose to have a high of about 60 today.

Default Rain !

Finally the rainy season has begun in south Oregon; our rain is not like the daily monsoon downpour in Florida..... it's more of a slow, steady piddle - almost every day for 6 months However, the good thing is that means the fire danger season is over !

We're contemplating a trip to the Napa Valley and San Francisco - about a 7-hour drive south

Oh, ConeyIsBabe, what a nice trip that would be. If you go, PLEASE post photos... you always post such beautiful and interesting photos.

Will you do lunch or dinner on the Napa Wine Train?
