The weather here in the Village of Hadley is a little tooooooo cool for me. In the past when the G family would vacation together in a warm spot we would throw in a sweatshirt to wear just in case it got cold. It seems that we were always wearing the "just in case" sweatshirt. It now has become a joke. Now here we are and we are NOT warm. NOPE. I think it is gonna snow.

Just kidding.

[QUOTE=faithfulfrank;171189]Peachie,
Thank you. I had both the Crisper's lunch and the Mac user's club on the calendar, but got so busy I did not make it. In the 25 days we were back, We had a new roof installed, blew in more insulation, planted 3 more citrus trees, replaced the lampost, and installed a sign I bought up at TV, powerwashed and cleaned the whole house, dug up and moved my sprinkler valves, did some electrical work, installed a attic ladder and shutters and a new address light for a neighbor, fixed and installed some window treatments did tons of trimming, planting, etc.....did much more, but that was the bigger stuff.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ahhh, Frank, it sounds as though the two of you are in the grips of the Florida homestead! You now know the joys of owning two homes and you forgot to mention the constant opening and closing of your wallet,
Joking aside, there is a great feeling to be working on something together that you know will make your lives even more fun and exciting. You can schedule those other things in when you're in town again.

And in keeping with this thread, it is sunny, beautifully colorful and going to the mid 70's here in the upper Midwest today. This weather is predicted to last through Wednesday which is highly unusual for this time of year. Yea!!!!!!!

Smile Beautiful Weather

Election Day in NY
Beautiful sunny day. We are having what some people call an Indian Summer here in Fredonia,NY for a few days. That means summer weather and lots of sun.
Our fall colors are here but we will get into the 70's. Many are outside raking leaves and the squirrels are all over- busy picking up nuts.

A few college girls on campus are in their swimsuits on a blanket outside!!!

Beautiful weather.

Arrow What is the weather like where you are?

Nov 19th,2008
It is winter in Fredonia,NY. Temp is 28 degrees. Along Lake Erie here we only have a trace of snow but there have been bans of snow away from the lake up to 2 feet.

Best Mom.... overnight we weren't too much higher than you. Got down to the upper 30's but will improve over the next few days into the upper 60's. Today, however, it may not get out of the 50's.

Hi graciegirl ... first of all let me tell you that, although waaay too briefly, it was a pleasure to meet you at a few days ago. And, no, not a barbershop group ... just your's truly and a couple of friends with the waiters on a recent cruise.

Best Mom ... yes we need to stay warm and have warm - feelings, too. Isn't it funny that just two weeks ago you were in the 70's! Are those college girls still in their swimsuits outside on a blanket?

Nope, no college girls on blankets showing a lot of skin today.
I plan to hug everybody I can today.( just to warm them up ) I gotta get going and stop hijacking my own thread!
Everybody have a super day.

Now back to people's weather...

Default This is so painful!

So, I left the villages at 8:00 this morning, a little chilly yes, but beautiful blue skies and lots of sunshine, arrived in Rochester N.Y. 7 hours later to a deep freeze with a few inches of snow on the ground.

My advice to anyone whos thinking of heading North.......DONT DO IT!!!!

Donna, Brace yourself g/f.

Oh poor Nonie. I was complaining about the cold today at Crispers. But I know it is warm and balmy compared to N.Y.

Keep the faith and think positive. You'll soon be back in The Bubble.
