The best way to get this money into the hands of those who need it is to spend it wisely...when it is safe to do so. Buy from a produce stand. Order food from a Mom and Pop operation. Tip when appropriate. Have your home power washed. Surely there are local businesses whose service/product you can use.

That money should be going to people that have been put out of work and are in need!
If you don't need the money, then donate it to a supermarket worker, first responder or health care worker.

Why is the Kennedy Center getting money? We can't even go inside.

Plus they just announced they will not be paying their National Symphony Orchestra performers after next week. Despite the fact that it is in their contract that there must be 6-weeks notice for stopping salary.

How about this one -
$350 Million for: Relocation of immigrants and illegal aliens (to a comfortable place near you)...

Default Double the good you can do

When the check arrives go to local businesses and buy gift cards.
Donate the cards to a food bank or charity. You have stimulated the economy and supported your fellow man.

This is an awesome idea! I'll earmark $100 for that out of mine. Maybe 10 $10 gift cards to Publix and bring all 10 to a food pantry, to give out to those hardest hit by poverty. That doesn't sound like much to most of you but...

You get a jar of spaghetti sauce on sale, a BOGO of spaghetti (at $1.49 total for 2 pounds), half a pound of ground chuck, and salad greens - assuming the household has oil and vinegar in the pantry...

That's dinner for 4, for 2 nights. There's likely to be enough left over from that $10 for 4 bananas - fry those up with some brown sugar and butter, and call it dessert.

It's hard for even the Federal Government to spend $2 trillion without wasting some of it. Here is some interesting math: $2 trillion ÷ 320 million people. That is $6,250 for every man, woman, and child in the country.

When you make such insulting and absolute statements, you should at least try to be right. Your ignorance just adds to the absurdity of your post.

Who are you agreeing 100% with? Please either use the "reply with quote" button feature when replying to someone specific, or post their name in your reply, so people know who you're talking to.
