* Accumulations… 4 To 8 Inches Of Snow.
* Timing… A Mix Of Rain And Snow Will Overspread The Potomac Highland And Northern Shenandoah Valley This Evening… And Change Over To Snow Tonight. The Heaviest Snow Will Fall From The Predawn Hours Saturday Into Saturday Afternoon. The Accumulating Snow Will End By Mid Afternoon.
* Impacts… Heavy Wet Snow Will Likely Accumulate On Trees. With Foliage Still On Trees… The Snow May Lead To Broken Tree Limbs And Power Outages. Hazardous Travel On Snow-Covered Roads Is Also Possible.
* Temperatures… In The Mid 30s.

It is 45 degrees today in Ontario, and it will be 50 in a few days. We're still having some lovely fall colour. No snow for a while!

Soon it will be time to start packing the truck for the trek back to The Bubble. When we start seeing palm trees, we are like kids anticipating Christmas! There is no finer feeling than when we first roll into the driveway of our TV home, and know we have six wonderful months ahead!

It is a beautiful day here in Alaska too! We don't have any snow on the ground, it has been a beautiful fall. Of course once the snow is here it is here until May! The forecast is for snow on Monday but we are hoping for a few more wonderful snow free days.

We will be at our home in TV in 45 days, not that I'm counting.

Yes, believe it or not, I miss the snow!

BUT, and you must understand this: I miss the snow, and only the snow!

So, when conditions begin to deteriorate, I am likely to return to a "this is how it should be" attitude, and breath a sigh of relief!

I enjoy hearing that it may snow or that it may be extremely cold - especially when I am far away from such threats!

Nothing better then coming in from skiing to a nice warm house with the wood stove cooking.
I will miss the cool fall and skiing in the winter. But, I can hop a plane and go out West and get my ski fix.

The grassy areas are covered this morning and the snow and wind have picked up. The good news is Miss Sam made in from NOVA without problems this morning. The other good news is we are both off this weekend so we don't have to worry about it.

Ha Ha That is what going to Disney World to see the holiday shows with snow, and the snow app on our Iphone, so that we can just open it and watch snow while we are riding around in our golf carts, are for!

Hahaha, that is exactly right, @Freeda. Nothing like having snow fall on you in front of Cinderella's castle in Florida. It even starts to feel cold for a second.

Wishing we were there. Went to town (no not for bread and milk). The roads are snow covered and it's snowing to beat the band. Cooking Chinese tonight so I needed some ingredients. Won't be going back out.
