Trailblazer SS! Along with my Golf cart I like the available of power, handling, and speed in case I need it! Even though it will go 140 I don't drive with the pedal to the floor: popcorn:.

I'm also a Subaru Forester fan. I had a Honda CRV for 10 years and they certainly hold their value! However overall I prefer the Subaru, it just feels really safe to me and I lke the size.

Fireboy's last two vehicles have been Toyoto Four-Runners. That's the vehicle we drive to Florida, towing a motorcycle trailer.

Some of the vehicles mentioned are crossovers and not SUV's

I drove a Ford Explorer for ten years. Finally just got bored with it and sold it, but it was far from worn out. For a smaller SUV, I really like the Honda CRV.

Honda Pilot and now almost 100K miles and no problems at all. It uses more gas than I like and thinking about Toyota RAV4 for my next one. Uses less gas and rated excellent by CSR. I may look at the Forester as well since several have stated it is their preferred SUV.

I have had a Porsche Cayenne S for 10 years this coming December and love it for its performance. I also have a VW Touareg V8 which is easy to drive all day since it has a softer suspension and a more domesticated feel.

Honda CR-V. Would not be my first choice but it is easy to tow behind the motorhome. It has been a good car for what it is. I had a GMC Envoy that was nice, a couple of Jeep Cherokee's that were okay, and an Isuzu Rodeo that was nicer than we expected.

If I were shopping new I would be looking at the 2014 Jeep model line. Lexus would be a consideration as well. There are some crossovers that might be okay, but as another poster mentioned - those are crossovers, not SUVs.

Default Best SUV

Honda Pilot is great if you need a big vehicle. After we moved all the stuff here from the north we traded ours in on a Scion xB. Love that zippy thing! 5 passenger capability, hauling capacity too. Go test drive one, you'll love it.

Default Love my SUV

I have a Toyota 4Runner Limited and I wouldn't trade it for anything. It is very stylish, comfortable and looks like the Lexus SUV, but better. I bought it because I can see over the steering wheel when I drive!!!

We drive SUVs and love them! Easy to drive and see from! Have had Honda, Toyota, Ford and each was great.

We have a Lexus RX and absolutely love it. It is NOT a truck, drives like a car.

My sis loves, absolutely loves, her Honda CRV. We have a Saturn Outlook. Easy in, easy out, you can see traffic better. Rides well. I never want a car again.
