Really? And how would you know this exactly? It seems you have formed an opinion, which, of course, is not the same thing as evidence. This witness was testifying under oath and her words can be used to convict this man. Whether he should be 'looking at some jail time here' is up to the jury. And they will make that decision based on the evidence presented and that includes the testimony of Rachel Jeantel, unfortunately.

Glad we are not the only ones who could easily see that.

Don't they teach English in Miami? We also picked up on the attitude.

Very slow thinking process........unbelievable. We thought, "Don't they do a drug test" prior to the trial????

It almost seemed she was in some type of zombie like state......very sad as far as being a witness........

I agree.

Let's hope that justice is done and Zimmerman is held accountable for HIS actions!

If you had paid attention, you would have heard that a friend of her's wrote the letter for her. This young woman is not the one on trial...that would be George Zimmerman.

As a witness her credibility is on trial, i.e., can she be believed?

I don't have to be a mind reader or be a member of the jury to know that the idiot with the gun should have left the gun behind and to have kept his much thinner butt at the time of the killing in the car.

To things very apparent to the jury should be:

1. I don't know if any jury can forget no matter what this witness said or how she said it GZ did what he did because of his actions.

2. GZ has spent a lot of time eating since his arrest.

How can anyone even think this guy is a hero of some kind? He is a poster boy for gun control. Stupid incompetent rule breaking citizens like him should be out bowling or something and not patrolling the streets with a hand gun looking for an excuse to use it.

Yes, obviously, Zimmerman has spent a lot of his defense money gained from his Internet sites on Denny's or Dunkin' Donuts as he now weighs over 240 pounds on his 5 foot 9 inch body.

At the time of his killing of Martin, Zimmerman outweighed Martin by about 40 pounds. Yes, he should not have ever gotten out of his car nor should he have been carrying a pistol while on Neighborhood Patrol.

Zimmerman is going to PRISON!

Which rules did he break? I presume he was licensed to carry the gun, so that's not a broken rule. I think we can all agree that he was foolish to allow himself to get into the position that he did, but being foolish is not against the law.

I would think that shooting someone with a gun that you were not supposed to be carrying while on neighborhood watch has some legal consequences. I am sure that is why there is an ongoing trial.
