Bucco communism and socialism have been tried in this country before, and we all know they don't work they simply DON'T work so we are not headed down that long lonesome road.Democracy is the only way and Democracy made a choice this past November the man has to have a fair chance to lead us in a new direction you plant a seed you don't know if it's going to bare fruit until it matures. Was I a true American when I voted for Nixon twice, and a true American when I voted for Reagan twice, and now am I a commie or a socialist because I want change and voted for Obama. Lets try to stand by the man together as one nation. By the way after he completes his four years and God forbid he fails then vote his stupid back side out of office and as punishment for his mistakes make him live the rest of his life in a one bedroom rental with Bush.

Are we back to change just for the sake of change no matter the consequences? We have no choice now but to wait 4 years. Our only hope is to take back congress in 2010 and at least be able to put a stop some of the madness. Maybe someday we can even get back to actually reading and debating bills before they are voted on. It's crystal clear that Obama is a socialist and fully intends to take us down that path as quickly as possible. You can get behind that but not me. |

Anyone who voted for any bill including the "stimulus" package without reading it and understanding it should be impeached. It is no excuse they had no time to read it. That alone was reason to NOT vote for it. After it was approved the market went down and almost everyday since then. Obama waited a couple of days to sign it until he could spend hundreds of thousands of dollars taking a trip to Colorado to put on a show for the signing of the "emergency" bill, which was STUFFED full of pork. Come on America, wake up!

Here is an assessment that I am sure will draw fire from the usual camps, however, it is a realistic view from the financial side of what is and is not happening:
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123604419092515347.html The expectations of the financial world are not unreasonable. At some point the newbies in Washington will pick up on it during their OJT (on the job training). We all know change takes time. We all also know that without specifics, confidence will not come to the fore. And we should all also know leaders cannot just keep focusing on the populist menu....there are other needs the country has. There are some changes that need to be made....that have IMMEDIATE impact that are not being addressed. Obama could have made good on his no pork committment made during campaigning. Yet he chose to not only ignore the business as usual in DC pork filled bills, but comes out and supports the fact it is there. He could just as easily had said, there will be no pork and don't send it to me until it is out. Instead he chose to fuel the ram rodding Pelosi/Reid bill riddled with pork. Only to be followed up by the next bill and no surprise here, eh....pork filled again. What bothers those of us used to making changes that yield immediate impact and results...he is not doing it. And some how that seems to be acceptable to the followers of what ever he does. It is an executive short coming he has chosen to allow....results oriented people do not. BTK |

Ok, first of all, you continually and perpetually name George Bush, and he has a lot of culpability, BUT your inference is that you exonerate folks like Frank, Dodd, Clinton, etc. THAT is totally unfair and incorrect and you know what....Frank, Dodd are still there...still making policy. Still standing beside this President and still ...still making deals for votes. Your comment about Rush Limbaugh makes me laugh...the entire thing of the United States White House taking on a talk show host is just ridiculous. I have honestly never listened to him and if you search these archives in this forum, I am saying nothing I havent said during the primary and the campaign, and will remind you that there are many on here who chasitised Obama...called him names during the primary but adore at his feet now....what does that tell you ? Listen, I want this country and all in it to succeed....I simply feel now as I did last summer.....President Obama is a HUGE danger...I have read BOTH his autobiographies...yeah, 2 autobiographies at his age....there are dissimiliar in many ways..not sure how that happens but anyway also have read almost all I could get my hands on about him....EVERYTHING...ALL of it points to him doing exactly what he is doing. So, if you are saying there is something wrong with disagreeing with the President, well...guess that was a new law recently passed I had not heard of, and I will disagree all I want an do it unabashedly. Just please.....when you blame folks, make sure you have facts and history on your side....if you said that Bush was PART of it....I agree, but when you give a free pass to those who were RIGHT THERE AND COULD HAVE CHANGED WHAT IS HAPPENING, then we must part ways ! |

That seems to be the get out of jail free card for liberals. No matter what happens they can always blame it on Bush. Obama could turn this country into a trash heap and still they would blame it on Bush, today, tomorrow and forever. Everyone one else gets a free pass.
I certainty don't need a year to give him a chance. Obama is left wing radical socialist and I don't care if he personally showed up on my door step with a check to pay off my mortgage. I'd tear it up and send him packing right quick. I'm an American and I hold my allegiance to God, my family, the Constitution, Declaration of Independence and our Bill of Rights, not a radical like Obama who makes shredding our Constitution a sport... not to mention many others in government. |

Nobody called President Obama a name either. If you research his background you will find that his IDEOLOGY is that of radical..very radical left wing politics leaning to socialism. Does not make him a bad man but it IS HIS IDEALOGY and he is President of the United States. In reference to another post of yours referencing Rush Limbaugh (the left seems obsessed with talk show hosts) but in any case it isnt just folks like this...seems Jim Cramer also got a few "shots" from our WH today..... http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/...ent_110203.asp Seems Jim Cramer, NOT a talk show host from the right called Obama's budget a "radical agenda" and added ""This is the greatest wealth destruction I've seen by a President." Seems the WH is going to attack anyone who disagrees with them !!! And note it is NOT just right wing radicals. |

Just because Pres. Obama wants to make bigoted statements - as he was out to slander those non-urbanites who have different values than the wing-tipped, latte crowd - to an audience who think God and self reliance are "archaic" concepts, does not make the statements anything more than a politician shooting his mouth off for the sake of votes. On a different day, he'll hang around a bowling alley, try to roll a frame or two and have a beer with the non-urbanites , and attempt to pass himself off as a "good ole boy" who is just one of the guys. Yep, give me my guns and bible anytime. Y'all can keep your copy of New Yorker and your IPod. |
