That is right the WH does everything it can to deny that terrorism is present in the world. The WH owns the press.

You know what they call CNN. It is the Careless News Network. They earned that. However, trying to say that the headline was sent out there to hide that it wasn't a terrorist attack is beyond stupid.

It is hard to make sense, when you have convinced yourself that everything this president does is wrong. Thinking isn't necessary, when you are in this frame of mind.

This Administration is bent on proving old Abe Lincoln was wrong and that you can fool all of the people all of the time. How do you believe they are doing? When you imply that these news organizations tried to hide the fact that the truck was not driven by a terrorist, you sound like a fool. Don't mention Lincoln, because you are not the party of Lincoln. That party is dead or haven't you noticed.

The fact that there has been such a rush to jump on the bandwagon of mocking the real problem, which is easy access to semi-automatice assault type rifles with large magazines, pretty much says it all.

Deep down, even a gun nut of average intelligence knows that trying to point to the 1 out of 100 mass murders committed with other than the rifles described above, is a simpleton's attempt at misdirection.

Having said that, the horse has been out of the barn for more than 70 years and any attempt to restrict access to said guns is pretty much impossible at this point.

Oh what a different country we would have, if SCOTUS had given proper weight to the phrase "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State..." in UNITED STATES v. MILLER (1939).

There is no question in my mind that the FF's never even imagined a standing military (which was the reason for the militia wording), much less the chance that every citizen could have unfettered access to the weapons that are currently available and would have been unimaginable to the FF's.

If they had, they would have put in some reasonable restrictions and control without making guns illegal across the board.

While I own a couple of guns myself, I still have a problem understanding a lot of the people I know who are almost addicted to and hypnotized by the sense of power they get from shooting theirs.

I swear that some of them, forced with the mandate of giving up their guns or their children...would choose their children.

Pretty sad when you think about it.
