Bucco you said I distorted the Fox Noise story....I asked you to show me where, in my post, I did. Of course you just ignored that put just jumping to "Is the story true". I have to respond with What Story?
Did Anita Dunn give a statement about Mao and Mother Teresa. Yes that is true. However, did Glenn Beck include the rest of story ....what part of their philosophy she admired? Nope why include that part cause its boring. Did the Safe School Czar consul an of legal age gay boy to protect himself if having sex during the AIDS crisis? Admittedly yes that is true. But Hannity and I watched this live so I know what I saw and what was said....Hannity kept referring to the boy as 15 not 16 which in that state is a big deal. So again I challenge you to show me the distortation.....I'm looking forward to it. |

You ROUTINELY refer to the Fox Network as fox noise...I mean ROUTINELY as if they were not the most watched cable network news. This is not about defending Fox, as they are doing quite well but the constant denial of what is and has been happening and the constant use of Bush and Fox as some sort of excuse, reason or whatever it is. The administration has had and has a number of folks associated with them either as czars or advisors or position holders who have had much to say in defense of extremeism and radical views. THAT is the subject...not Fox...not Bush. You seem to have some sort of fixation with the Fox celebrities which is fine but it has nothing to do with facts. I seldom link to or use as a source ANY of the cable channels. I also have watched Olberman and Maddow in the evening on MSNBC and would venture a guess (IF I CARED) that their hate mongering makes Fox pale but Fox is the number one thus all the "noise" from you and others. I can only imagine if the White House took the time during the Bush adminsitration to attack MSNBC on what NON NEWS commentators had to say what the reaction might have been. They not only attacked administration policies but attacked on a personal level directly to the President AND the first lady. I will be glad to post here any number of sources other than Fox who have and are following the story of the radical element in this administration if you wish but I am sure you will discount that for some reason. Look, I understand you are a party lady (not the wild one..the Democratic one ) and I also understand you will deny this with talk of how you voted for Republicans, but you give nothing here but the party line...NOTHING up to and including your derisive comments about a news network ! |

FREE Speech
Where in our constitution does Obama get the idea that it is okay for a President to attack the freedom of speech granted to all broadcast Networks?

This White House has declared war on Fox News....PLEASE explain had the Bush administration taken the same tack with MSNBC ?????? You are speaking of commentators who are NOT REPORTING NEWS...got it...NOT REPORTING NEWS. That is why nobody went after the Olbermans, Maddow's etc. They do not report news. Now the White House will decide open commentary...if it is opposed to what they say then they come after you. Nice country when that is the rule isnt it ? The WHITE HOUSE is doing this.....the President of the United States has approved and sanctioned a war on a network..think about that for just a second ! PS....AND I did not mention MSNBC generally I mentioned the commentators by name. And NO PRESIDENT DECLARED WAR ON THEM BECAUSE THEY DIDNT AGREE WITH WHAT THEY SAID. WE NOW HAVE A PRESIDENT WHO WILL OPENLY DECLARE WAR ON YOU IF YOU DONT AGREE ! |

If you actually watched or listened to Hannity and O'Reilly you'd know they were both pretty critical of Bush on numerous issues. The budget and immigration just to name two.

I am positive that COLOGAL does not understand..... The President of the United States has approved a war on a major network because they disagree with him !!! It does not matter WHO said what...does not matter if you agree or disagree....we have a sitting President outright declaring war on a network and having his chief of staff and his chief political advisor to visit talk shows to throw bombs !!! |

Does that surprise you?
They are declaring war against anything and anyone who does not support their agenda. Free speech, the constitution, etc, none of that matters anymore. It's called tyranny. Something our founding fathers warned against. I can think of a few who gladly and willingly subjugate themselves to it. |

I think this article in The Sun Times sums up Obama, the current administration,
czars, advisers and supporters attitude:
http://www.suntimes.com/news/huntley...HUNT20.article My concern is they are not in the majority in this country.....yes they won the election....they are not in the majority....and they are continuing to roll over issues as we have all mentioned at one time or another that are tearing down the very fabric of this country. I have always thought (maybe hopefully) that regardless of party, sooner or later if the common good is being degraded, eventually a ground swell of we the people (party insensitive) will rise and deal with it. It seems like the only way to overcome their ability to restate, interpret, paint over, ignore, fabricate, lie to make their point or position is the voting booth. It starts with 2010 and continue to and including the 2012 general election. I think I have mentioned it in previous posts....this attitude of the Dems is not limited to this forum.....I find it in ANY Dem discussion. I kike the tag "whiners" it fits so well. As my kids used to tease one another when one or the other was whining......somebody call the wahmbulance for the whinny baby!!!!!!! btk |

I don't think anyone should be making personal comments about Cologirl. As everyone here knows, I don't agree with her on most any issue, but, I've come to respect her as being an educated thinker and sincere in her beliefs. Opinions here should remain to the subject, not the person.

FOX Noise Hypocrisy Extends to its Defenders
Quote:
George W. Bush blackballed Helen Thomas, The New York Times (He called them "little ****s" (oops, the mic was on!), The Washington Post and the so-called "mainstream media"- don't hear you crowing about objectivity there. Their press agent Ari Fleischer is still known for his arrogance in deceiving the mainstream press. Administration officials were routinely present on FOX programs, but not other news programs that might actually require them to give an answer. Condi Rice was famous for her comment on Air Force 1saying about FOX, "I love those guys." To top it off, FOX was exposed during the Bush administration for pre-interviewing its "friends", that is working out the questions and answers before an on-air interview. FOX, through the Beckerheads and its other agents is oopenly supporting the ********* movement, so much so that a FOX news director was caught on tape on the September 12th event in DC as whipping up the crowd with her arms - like, come on make some noise. Richard Nixon & Spiro Agnew mercilessly attacked the press when coverage was not favorable So please, Bucco, don't insult our intelligence by feigning "outrage" that the Obama Administration won't put lipstick on the pig. It boils down to this: All administrations try to get their messsage out as positively and/or as unfilitered as possible. FOX noise does not try to report the news, it "comments" from a right-wing perspective on the news, and tries to call it news. Did you catch Glen Beck the other night with a lengthy "expose" of how "Hollywood" was going Maoist by planning a week of show themes emphasizing- OH MY GOD- Volunteerism!! He whined on interminably about how encouraging volunteering was akin to Obama being chairman Mao, and how its all a conspiracy to get the ********** into secret detention camps. Bucco your paranoia and hate blind you to anything and everything that isn't conspiracy or teabag worthy. Let's go from there &things will stay much clearer for everyone. |
