Like him or not...a distinct advantage of the Trump family getting elected, they do not need the WH or the government to provide them the ability to step up their spending.

As I said above, the Trumps unlike the Obamas, needed to be in the WH to live lavishly as they think they do. Not even close to the way Trump lives.

Yes, we are seniors, thus TOTV forum. Hope you enjoy your visit. And I realize you must be young or you would remember that Bush went on working trips to his Texas home. He didn't need to rent million dollar vacation homes or fly all the way to Hawaii. If you knew anything, you would know that Bush did a lot of business from his home in Texas, presidential business. Just wanted to remind you, in case you happen to be old enough that you should know. Sometimes those liberal talking points don't include important aspects of issues.

He went to Texas, his home state instead of flying all the way to Hawaii Obama's home state. He had to rent because he could not afford to be a home owner. What's your point? We should elect people how live close to DC and own homes? Is this is your advice for young people?

Read the post over again, S.L.O.W.L.Y. Bush worked from his home in Texas. He had business meetings and conducted presidential business from his Texas home. That is a big difference between the two. Regardless of who had the most money, we are not talking about that issue. Someone mentioned that Obama has flown to Hawaii several times at the taxpayer expense. That is his prerogative. Every time someone brings up a flaw in Obama, you die hard radical followers of the failure seem to think that you need to use Bush as a comparison, even though it does not relate or is past history. I am old enough to remember him riding his horse and cutting wood among other things. Those were his working trips as you say. You must have been there to see the "business" he did. When you want to pick on someone, make sure your hero wasn't doing the same thing. lol
