What does your post have to do with this forum.

Many on this forum do not even live in TV.

You're making no sense at all here.

The liberals are all up in arms today and attacking with abandon. This thread and especially the one on Romney speaking at the NAACP.

Ridicule and hate all courtesy of the left. This is why they will lose big.

The Morse family is a very smart family in their business dealings. The Villages is truly an amazing place and I feel very lucky and blessed to live here. I do not care if they are Republicans or Democrats. I very rarely talk politics on a serious note when with friends.

I'm "just" a wannabe. That lower class that truly desires to live in TV but has not sold a home yet. During my visits to TV I have never been asked to show political affiliation at any facility or amenity. I don't think that politics affect the lifestyle one bit.

Being a wannabe is not a lower class, it just proves you know a good thing when you see it and aim to be a part of it. We frogs understand that better than anyone.

I was trying to explain that there are more than a few like you on this forum, and that this forum is made of of people from all around the country and not just current Villages residents. I was on this forum for a while before I moved here. I used the forum for info and advice and feedback. It was the best tool I had in my desire to move my life down here.

There are more lefties here in TV than people think, I'm guessing, just from the number of avowed lefties in my circle of friends here in TV.

So, if you agree and you don't care if they are Republicans or Democrats and you rarely talk politics with friends, why did you bring it up in the first place.????

The title of the thread is dealing with an article called "The Villages - Where Republicans Rule".

I was stating I do not care if the Morse family is strongly Republican, they have built an amazing place. I was also stating that their politics does not interfere with my everyday life here one bit. The only time I talk politics outside of this forum is at "the watering hole" with friends and we jab back and forth in a good natured give and take.

In the three and a half months we have spent in TV over the last three years I have never once found myself in an uncomfortable political situation. As for the developer, he is entitled to his ideas and politics and can spend his money wherever he chooses as long as it is lawful. Morse may not be my cup o tea (pun intended), politically, or personally, but I am quick to defend him for being a great businessman and an even greater visionary. I don't think that is either because of or despite being a right winger, it just is. The fact that in 2011 almost 1% of the new homes sold in the entire country were sold in this little oasis of less than 100,000 people pretty much says it all.

In case you happend to have read the original article, you should know that your comments have nothing to do with what was posted. Let me help you, it simply said there are lots more Republicans than Democrats here and that the Developer is a staunch Republican supporter and contributor. Tell me, what does your post have to do with that?

Default Its a NON FACTOR

Republicans and The Villages are a mutually exclusive topic and over shadowed by yhe fact that we communicate electronically. I suppose if it were the turn of the 19th or 20th centuries and we gathered at the town square it might mean something but now...is a NON FACTOR

No.

NOBODY...NOBODY should ever make a decision on where to retire based on the political affiliation of the developer. First, in most cases, you could not even find it but because this is the biggest, well it is much different when you play sports in a large media market versus small......

FOLKS....it makes no difference the political affliation of the developer and if it does, you better re-xamine your life and priorities
