The statement was about my family. I agree not all college educated women will vote for Hillary but there are plenty of high school educate women who will vote for Hillary.

Not only the college educated women WILL NOT vote for Trump but neither will college educated men under 50, Hispanics, the poor, MINORITY groups, the vast majority of young educated voters, all registered Democrats, and basically anyone who is not a drooling idiot.

I do know there are a lot of posters on this forum who say they will vote for Trump - but they fall into the drooling idiot category.

With the demographics I listed in the first paragraph, the electoral votes of Florida AS WELL as those states that have similar big cities (Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, California) will also go Democratic. 'Nuff said.

I can only speak for myself but what I work to avoid is any focus on the author of an article and the persons the author is addressing. Instead I apply alpha letters such as author= X subject of article =Y etc.

I have done this my entire working career as a goal for attaining as much objectivity as is possible...objectivity being essential for good decision making. Once I have decided on the facts then veracity of author/person comes into play...

So any opinions I draw about Hillary or Donald or others are based on the fact as presented. Now the problem can arise if the author altered the facts or the subject of the article flat out lied. This leads to searching out more and more information from different sources to determine the likely truth.

Too often we find that people are judging an issue based on the likability of the person. Its why for me the favorable/unfavorable opinions have about a presidential candidate mean nothing to me. I am not going to vote for a person because I like him or her. We are not electing the high school president.

The term "Hillary Hater" as used here is the same tactic (PC) used for issues involving cultural difference sex preferences etc. The intent is to shut down communication. Its very sad because the people who apply such a tactic actually believe its a legitimate argument.

Bernie Sanders will be endorsing Hillary Clinton for president on Tuesday after the democratic national committee meets in Orlando this week-end.

It looks like Sanders will be getting most of what he wants in the democratic platform and hung in there until he pulled Clinton further left.

Rachael Maddow reported on her show last week that only 8% of Sanders supporters would not support Clinton, which is far less than Clinton supporters who would not support Obama. When push comes to shove, most times the parties unite.

It will be interesting to see what the republican platform looks like, since Trump and the RNC have some big differences of opinion.
