You see to be the self-proclaimed expert on 'mental midgets' - congratulations.

Did anyone here have tuition debt while attending their own state college or university? I didn't. It was only $350/year.
$350 a year tuition and you earned $2.50 an hour. Do you want to go back to that pay scale?

Education is a business, they incur expenses to provide those services. Do you know any professors that wish to take a cut in pay? Do you know any construction companies that want to erect lecture halls and dorm buildings for free? Do you believe the 20 trillion dollar debt we will have when Obamma leaves office is small?

If Bernie had it his way; everyone could go to school for free, forever. Why would a person not pursue a doctrine in basket weaving instead of getting a job, if they get free education? The Greek houses will have to put additions on to accommodate the eternal students...Life long college party scene would be a dream come true for a lot of these lazy no good bums.

This country is going to hell in a handbasket, STOCK UP ON AMMO!

yes---$350/2.50=140 hours of minimum wage work and your tuition was paid

And how many boomers went to college because it was inexpensive?

Then we got higher paying jobs and that meant the government collects more taxes. That's the motivation for educating the populace. It's win-win.

Our generation agreed to let the government invest less and less in education and we in turn had to help our children pay for college. Now mine are making 6 figures, paying a lot of taxes and treat me very well.

College professors are not that highly paid anymore.

Are you doubting me when I stated that you will not find the Ku Klux Klan voting for Hillary or that you will not find members of the American Nazi Party voting for Hillary?

You have no possible way of KNOWING who they will vote for. It is your OPINION that they will vote for Donald Trump. Maybe they will vote for Gary Johnson, or maybe they won't vote at all. Who REALLY knows - no one.

That was then, this is now. Nobody makes the same forever and nothing costs the same forever. If you don't want to pay for it, don't buy it. If enough people don't buy it the price usually comes down. If more and more people are willing to buy, the price goes up.

Too many of them went to college spent a lot of money and not many of them went to work in the field they were educated in.

That has not really worked out, we have a 20 trillion dollar debt...and a bunch of educated idiots working at retail stores.

I don't remember the government asking me about investing in education, when did they ask you?

I stated that those crazies (the KKK and the American Nazi Party) will not be voting for Clinton.

I did not say anything about them voting for Trump.

Do you doubt me in my statement?

One point at a time.

You don't understand what the cost of an education is, do you?

How much do you think it costs the public to send a student to high school per year?

You used to have to work about half a year at min wage to pay for a year of college. Now you have to work for 3 years.

Yes it is a business, a FOR PROFIT business.

Yes it is...in 30 years, we'll be there.

The cost or what it SHOULD cost?

Again, what it DOES cost or what it SHOULD cost. The "education industry" is a bloated as any other...

Try again.
$350/2.50=140 hours of minimum wage work and your tuition was paid

How many weeks of work equals 140 hours?

Sometimes I did this in 2 weeks not a half a year.
You think "You used to have to work about half a year at min wage to pay for a year of college."

The people in The Villages didn't get here by wishful thinking. I'll bet most of us have worked 70 hour weeks and helped raise a family and did the chores at home that needed to be done.

The rest of your post makes even less sense.

We will find out next week when the KKK shows up in full force for the Republican National Convention in Cleveland as promised. They will get there early to secure a good spot for prominent TV exposure.

One can only assume that the KKK will be supporting Trump, since he is the one espousing hatred towards African Americans, Muslims, Hispanics, LGBT, women and who am I forgetting?

The meeting of the platform committee next week could get interesting, pitting Donald Trump against Paul Ryan, who says we will not ban Muslims.

Remember the autopsy of the GOP done after the landslide loss in 2012 where it was decided the GOP must be more inclusive if they ever want to win a presidential election. Well, Trump put the kibosh on those ideas.

I personally don't hate anyone but I am sick and tired of attorney's trying to run this Country. Personally common sense tells me that her salary alone from being a public servent is questionable at best. Not only that, she's been in politics for many years and hasn't made much of a difference so she's had her chance! I did a lot of searching. Soul as well as political and all I know as a life long democrat I will never vote Dem again, not in my lifetime. I am middle of the road and vote my conscience, which is keep the Clinton's out of the WH. She's had her chance to do some good. She blew it
