Just a thought - If McCain wins, and something happens to him that puts Palin in as President, guess who would be VP - yes, a woman. Nancy Pelosi as speaker of the house is the next in line. If Obama wins and something happens to him - guess who will be VP - Nancy Pelosi, etc.

meriboo great post. It shows exactly what Obama wants to do with his income redistribution plan. Help all the less fortunate get on their feet with other's money. Unfortunately the others are us. Yes he will decimate the upper class by adding another increase to their already 40% load but will hit the middle class too. The other night Obama opined: There is this waitress out there working minimum wage trying to raise her kids. She can't afford to pay tax but I can, so I help. "It is the neighborly thing to do." That was a quote. I look at it this way, you make your bed and you lye in it. There is a safety net for people who to no fault of their own, fall on hard times. It is called welfare and unemployment. After a period of time the person finds their way back on the roles and life goes on. I don't think we should try to pick up every loser by his or her bootstraps just to be neighborly. I worked for what I have, and I am quite sure everyone on this forum worked for what they have. That is life. As meriboo said, welcome to the Republican Party.

That is very true ilvgolf. But even at that, Nancy P. would have the backing of Biden. Sarah P. would be in charge and have the backing of a VP and a talented cabinet to guide her. She already possesses leadership skills, her transition would be a smooth one.
