C'mon....they are all politicians.
Trying to compare which is what or not is impossible because most only can go by what they hear....remember...they are politicians....they say what you want to hear...some good some bad...to date they have not presented anything of substance to allow evaluation.

They are both currently in the entertainment business. They are both trying to be populists.
Obama puts on a better show...free entertainment...free concert caliber performers...generates enthusiasm and energy in the crowd...

They are spending far too much time and $$$ on tit for tat, berating, partisan, pandering, slandering...defending what the other said last night/this morning/5 minutes ago.

The debates will be more of the same. Polish 'em up, shine 'em up, prep them, model them, coach them....just as un real as movie actors playing a lead role.

I am still waiting to hear from them who they really are. I for one do not like to be played to....when all else fails (which so far has) the only evaluation can be of past performance....not as they say but as the record shows. Therein will be the only real perspective and identity.

That Beau is Attorney General or worked for the US attorneys office does not impress me. The fact that he is in the National Guard and is being deployed to Irac does.

Let me get this straight....Sen Obama has written TWO autobiographies at his age (many times disagreeing with himself).....TWO stories of his life BEFORE he even ran for President and before he had served ONE MONTH in the US Senate, AND YOU ARE TURNED OFF BY A WAR HERO....that to me is amazing.

Having served in Vietnam...the answer to your question is YES I have lost folks dear to me in war, perhaps not Iraq....HOWEVER what is the point of the question ?

YES...Sen Obama touted his book many times during the beginning of the primary then he found that folks were finding things that were DIFFERENT in each and he backed off. I hear about his COMMUNITY ORGANIZING and such much more than I hear about Sen McCain service to the country.

In any case, please explain what losing someone in Iraq has to do with Sen Obama writing two.....TWO...books about HIMSELF....and Sen McCain talking about his background ? Which by the way I WISH SEN OBAMA WOULD DO...it is absolutely interesting !

Now he was talking about being there AS WE ARE IN MANY MANY COUNTRIES...Japan, Germany, etc...he added "as long as no americans are shedding blood". If you suggest we pull all our troops out of all countries then fine that is your position.
