Yep, I have and I have to disagree with you. I am not going to get into religion with a liberal, because if you don't believe then you wouldn't understand what you are arguing about. Jesus was not a liberal, suffice it to say. I will leave it for another thread, but I can easily shut your argument down in a heartbeat, if necessary. Saying something is true, doesn't make it true unless you have facts to support your statement.

Kind of like Sanders saying in one sentence that he would not be raising taxes for the middle class, and then saying that deducting money to pay for gov health care is not a tax when you are saving money from the private insurance company. Liberals/socialists are not credible, and anyone that takes the time to listen to them always realize this. Others prefer to walk about deaf to what the socialists are telling them.

I heard on the news today that citizens that have not been voting in the past are now saying that they are going to come out and vote for Trump. Interesting, and I would like to see the details of the polling. I would be interested in seeing the questions used and the demographics used in their poll. If anyone has the information, I would be interested in the link.

Confiscate billionaire's money and give it to the poor? What planet did you and your wife hear that on? Make them pay their fair proportion of taxes is a very good idea, though.

Socialists? How about social programs like food stamps for the needy, welfare for the needy, Social Security for the needy? You know, helping the hungry and poor - kind of what Jesus preached about?
SS is not hand out for the needy. It's earned retirement for those who worked all there life paying in. Not for some freeloading person who never paid in or those who jumped the boarder for hand out. thats the problem with SS it's turned into handout for party voting base.

I have watched all the debates - quite a contrast:

Democrats: Intelligent adults seeking solutions for the good of America.

Republicans: Petulant children seeking votes from angry bigots and money from individuals and corporations who want to continue polluting, stealing money, and holding power.

What year rerun debates did you watch?

Did you not observe Sanders ranting and shouting with spittle and foam about his lips?
Did you not hear a ludicrous statement from Hillary about how the police should carry an antidote for heroine overdose?
Did you not see the whole Democrat/liberal/socialist debate start out by attempting to kiss the black caucus @ss for their endorsement? Pathetic and desperation at it's best.
Did you not hear O'Malley beg for 30 seconds to speak?
Did you not hear Sanders blather on and on about campaign finance when asked about terrorism, health care, or gun control?

Nope, you did not watch either debate, or you wouldn't have made such a ridiculous comment.

Why did you watch the debate?

I have come to the conclusion that the average American is NOT knowledgeable OR they are voting out of avarice....or both. I see no benefit for our country from anything that was said by any of the candidates in the debate(?) last night.

What many did not hear, is more interesting and important than what was said.

You had best check out everything that Social Security pays for. There is SSI which are disability payments, it pays benefits for widows and children, and other things that are not retirement related issues.

Border means a boundry, boarder means a renter.

[QUOTE=Guest;1173430]A militia is NOT a federal crime, so why do you make up lies? A few nut cases does not make up a country. Do you see anything about hunting in the Constitution? I do see something about a militia though. Did you miss that part in your great education?

If you watched the debate, you too would have heard how they want to take money from the wealthy. When you say make them pay their fair share, what is that exactly? Does anyone else pay their own fair share, or just those that you deem to be better off than yourself? Fair share always means something different with liberals and socialists than that of the definition in the Dictionary. You all make up your own meaning, right?

I've not read the same Bible you read. Jesus never preached socialism, although he did preach charity. Feel free to feed the hungry poor. But, do it with your own money, not by forcing others to pay because you deem it the right thing. I find it kind of disingenuous that liberals try to use the Bible that they consider to be fiction. Most of the liberals I have spoken to in the past believe the Bible to be fiction and God to be a myth. Am I speaking to one that has seen the light?

Rationalizing by a liberal is merely justifying their lack of ethics and morality. In my America, people are treated with equal rights. Equal also means equally taxed at the same rate no matter what income. But, that does not correspond with your definition of "fair." Fair to you might be different than what is considered fair to another. But equal does not change. Half a glass of milk is half a glass no matter the size of the glass.

The Dems in the debate last night want to repeat the actions that brought down our economy the last time. They admit it too.[/QUOTE

Where to begin? First, no one said Jesus was a socialist. Social programs like food stamps, welfare benefits, SSI were mentioned. Look at all other civilized countries and they have cradle to grave social programs. That is good!

Higher taxes for these things from those who can afford it! Good! Not redistribution of wealth but social programs!

Treat people equally? Great! Do it!!

Adding on a bit to my previous reply, I DID NOT say a militia was a Federal crime. I said that the nut cases who call themselves a militia and take up arms against the Federal government are breaking Federal law - like the crazies in Oregon.

Yes, tax rates should be higher for those with incomes over $1 million than for those with incomes of $50,000. No, not a ridiculous 90 percent but somewhat higher than the lower income groups. Do away with the offshore accounts and corporation acounts paying nothing. Fair share! No, I do not have specific numbers in mind.

Feel free to feed the hungry - but don't make me help? God Christian attitude you got there. As far as you think liberals think the Bible is fiction and God is a myth - bull hockey! That is an idiotic statement and if you truly believe it, you are an idiot.

Socialism is GOOD??? That's your opinion, not the majority of real Americans.

Higher taxes from those that can afford it??? Why do believe in discrimination? I thought you folks didn't believe in discrimination. What you are saying is opposite of "fair" which your supposedly believe in. Fair to you is not fair to others, that have to sacrifice, that worked for a living.
Not redistribution of wealth??? I didn't say it was, but now that you mention it, it is. If the gov takes from the wealthy to give to the lazy, then that is called redistribution. Call it what you prefer, but like they say, you can put lipstick on a pig.....

Ah the old "my side is knowledgeable, yours is not", argument. Both sides have knowledge, but not necessarily judgment and wisdom. Don't flatter yourself that your side is in sole possession of knowledge, you refute that premise with your post.
