Until such times that ALL potical campaignes are PUBLIC financed, say to only 100K each candidate then there will be abuse of the system. Make it an even playing field then watch and see who really wants to run for public office. Money talks, really loud and the more you can get the louder your message that seems to be more and more BS.

If the usual rhetoric that goes something like because Obama is black he will carry the black vote(s)...again.

Does that mean because Christie is lebeled "fat" and over 40% of Americans are obese, that he will carry the vote of the obese/fat folks?
Will create a new dilema for the obese or fat blacks.
For those who look for possible racist tones....there are none intended here. Just stating parameters for voting blocks by categories just like they do every single day in the media. No more racist than the commentary about Obama carrying the black vote.

Worst president in history? In the paper this morning there was a list of presidents with lower ratings then Obama. Both Bushes were on that list, as was Carter. I think it was 17 who had lower ratings. REALITY CHECK!

Lists are a dime a dozen and they change daily. No credit at all.

Seems to me he might be better off letting that gang of 11 beat themselves up with some of the goofy stuff they're saying, and just go his own way as an independent. The big question is whether he'd be able to get on the state ballots as an independent.

While he wouldn't get money from the GOP national committee, my guess is that that money would flood in. I know I'd make a contribution. Then he wouldn't be beholden to the various powerful factions in the GOP. That would be a very good thing, I think.

Then again, I'm no political consultant.

If he runs as an independent, he will be responsable for the re-election of Obama.

I thinke I'd actually vote for him after he jumped all over the tea party and the way congress is currently treating the disaster relief for those four states..Disgusting spoiled brats....

Chris Christie possible entrance is welcomed but so would Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio. The reason is there are too many left over candidates campaigning now. Those candidates will fare no better this time around.

Rick Perry being as subtle as a train wreck approach is his demise. Romney's
insistence his health care plan was good flies in the face of logic given the problems MA. is having. I would have had more respect for him had he admitted it was a mistake. Beside which there is anything he saying that grabs my interest.

The presidential 2012 race is one GOP can win and it is only through their own mistakes that it will be lost. The GOP party needs to get its act together

Check out the people who voted for President Obama AND will vote for him again. They are 90%+ African-Americans, most Hispanics, most Democrats, most under 35 year olds, most college-educated people, most people out of a job, most people who are not in the upper-middle class, so this does not a great number to vote Republican.

Add in the factor that a neo-facist Tea Party favored Republican extremist will drive away the moderate Republican vote either to the Democrat side or just to stay at home - and you have a perfect win for President Obama again.
