I do not remember any violence at any meeting I attended. Could you please post a link?

Sounds like a Tea Party or right wing extremist tactic to change the subject when they find themselves on the defensive, doesn't it?
Again, your poll source is not credible.

Oh, I forgot that the only credible polls come out of FOX Noise.

if it were not for the minority (not race....most of the time) issues there would not be much dialogue for some.

Much be a lack of real issues or the talking points are not released yet!

You are going to have "crashers" at almost any event. They are the exception not the rule. At every one I attended there were just ordinary people at all walks of life.Blue collar and white collar and every one in between. Just concerned citizens that are worried where the direction of this country is going. Out of control spending and taxes are the main conversations.

This thread and posts are the epitome of what is wrong with our politics of today, with great examples of the intrusion of the internet and our total lack of flexibility with regards to our country

And we wonder why our congress REFLECTS EXACTLY THIS !!!!

Cool

The videos above are disturbing....not because they were Tea Party members, but because they were American.... It doesn't matter the political slant, this type of behavior is not good for any of us.

Unfortunately, whenever there's a movement that is a little too far left or right of center, we seem to enable the fringe elements [on both sides] to act in this manner.

When I see this type of stuff going on in Greece, London, Berlin, Tripoli, etc. I'm always glad that I live in America, where this sort of thing doesn't occur.

Hmmmmm......

I remember 7 or 8 years ago the media showed demonstrations that were violent and mean. Many signs showing Bush as Hitler. Code Pink was always there. Burning of pictures and flags. The wars are still there but the demonstrations went away. Why? Democrat in White House. If there was a demonstration the press would not show up.

For years the lefties have been jealous of the Tea Party so they demonize it and now decide to copy it.

I think my point is that no reasonable person could be very proud of this type of behavior from the "fringes" of either party.

Both Memeson and Villagegolfer are 100% correct. Its when we can say the small factions within any party are the culprits of violence, then at least we can move one step forward. Like I said, they are both mobs when they use violence to get their point across. In my opinion, they all lose support and that is the GOP's concern at this time.

If a candidate supports 99% of ones concerns but the 1 % he/she does not support is:

Gay Marriage or pro-life or gun control or Medicare or SS or etc. etc.

Then, that candidate is dead in the water. Democrats pull together better for the best they can get candidate for their causes. Republicans splinter off into separate groups. You can say that they will all come together when the vote is against Obama, but I say that many on the fence will go DEM after they have months of GOP members trashing each other.

And then there was you...in sweet fragrant meadows of dawn.

Anyone amateur historian can verify tactics used by the Nazi's, that are very similar to what we are seeing in these videos. Infiltrate and then become disruptive enough to tarnish or change the public opinion of any given group! Having been to numerous Tea Party events, just saying, these videos seem mighty suspicious. Retirees, farmers, war vets, and young families are the most prevelant at the events I've been to!

Why? I just don't get it. Is it just the shock value?
