TOTV was not always this way. there use to be a monthly gathering of members but as The villages expanded membership changed . Bear in mind that what you are viewing is discussion only of those on political Talk and hence does not fairly represent the membership of this forum, nor does it represent resident of The villages whom are some of the nicest people you can meet.

i referenced he expletives in an earlier post on here. Religious or not common decency and civility would dictate gentler language

so please do not be too hasty in your opinion of TOTV nor The Villages

True. The Villages is a wonderful place to retire. We have so many friends and so many activities to keep us busy. TOTV normal non political forums are an incredible source of information. I have saved money and avoided scams several times using the site. Worth its weight in silver. LOL Gold is at an all time high. Enjoy, but beware of the few trouble makers like Gracie and you will love it here.

What I speak to is not about the person in question but rather about the moving party. Irrespective of what another person does the greater issue is of one's control of their emotions and actions concerning the issue.

What I witnessed here was a mob verbally pouncing on one person. Again I do not know if the allegations are true or untrue but the rules of civility and responsibility require an unemotional and measured response.

I am not trying to take the high moral ground here nor do I hope you envision me as some type of J Alfred Prufrock. But emotional outburst and derogatory and personal attacks diminish a person and hence diminishes this Political forum.
