Wow! We all have the right to our opinions. So here's mine. This is one of the most twisted statements I've heard in a long time. If you are a man, well I believe that NO men should have a vote or a say on what a woman does with her body. And if you are a woman, shame on you!

It's just wrong on so many levels, I wouldn't know where to start.

Are you having a "Senior Moment"???? Don't you think Bush inherited a LOT of problems from his Democratic Predeceasor...a DEMOCRAT???!!!

Come on over to the good guys side and help keep us from a Muslim president with a wife that will go down in history and making Hillary Clinton look like Minnie Mouse.

Sarah has the Liberals heading for the proverbial hills doesn't she?????? McCain may not have been my first choice for a Republican candidate, BUT...he showed phenomenal brilliance in picking Sarah Palin for his running mate. Did you ever think that he is cognizant of his own shortcomings and therefore got someone to stand with him who could really be a source of help and inspiration to him??? I still say she is an answer to the prayers of millions of Americans. She will make a very intelligent, beautiful, fresh, down to earth V.P.

I do have a ticket for tomorrow's event, but really don't like crowds so I think I'll watch it on TV.
Sarah has liberals heading for the hills? Don't make me laugh! She's a flash in the pan and she's dimming already. I'm not worried at all. I'm eagerly awaiting the VP debates. She won't be able to deliver her semi-remembered repeated speech. McCain and brilliance don't even belong in the same sentence. Thanks, but no thanks!

OK, just saying Obama is Muslim completely dismisses anything more you have to say, in my opinion. I'm out of touch with reality? Oh Sweetie! Read the papers.

Funny how there was NO deficit when Bush took over! Now you, your children and grandchildren will pay the price of the botches of the Bush lies and unregulated administration. Even the governor of McCains home state is supporting OBAMA! HA!! I also agree with Chels, HOW DARE YOU say Obama is muslim!!!! BTW, I am sure Obama has big plans for Hillary. Hillary will most likely be appointed to head the house finance committee!!! Change is coming!!

I find the reaction to Palin, especially among women, to be very interesting. Many disagree with her position on abortion, some vehemently so. Surprisingly, many seem more incensed by her views than McCain's, which as far as I know are about the same. All I can attribute this to is a perceived betrayal of the "sisterhood." And it almost seems beyond politics in that a lot of theoretical conservatives have taken this view.

And the reaction to Palin among democrats is almost comical. Many seem to have forgotten entirely about McCain and are focusing all their attacks on her. And among the posters here on TOTV, the reaction of the lunatic fringe is downright inane. There have been literally scores of attack posts from the same cadre, generally with little or no substance. (I really can't swear to all their content as I've quit reading certain people.)

Personally I'm not sure about the wisdom of choosing Palin. Unlike a lot of people (including an insulting number of women), I have no problem with a female Veep or Prez. I have no problem with her being a mother, even of a special needs child. I'm not sure about her views as I've not heard them all and they do (and should) get subjugated to McCain's. I'm not wild about her experience, but then none of the four have the CV I'd prefer. I'll undoubtedly vote for McCain, primarily due to the alternative, but regardless, I'll withhold judgment on Palin for a bit.

Lets see, Obama was a community organizer. Palin is a state Governor. Palin has a real job governing and Obama has spent most of his term voting present and running for President.

When comparing qualifications between Obama and Palin it is obvious that Palin has more experience to be the President than Obama does.

GNU, Isn't McCain running for president? Don't compare apples to oranges or prudes, or do I mean prunes??
Bring on the debates! Sept. 26th we will see who is better qualified and who can fix the mistakes of the BUSH administration.

Four more years of the same OLD,same OLD, is not what this YOUNG country needs.
Remember, it is Obama vs. McCain !!!!!!

Let me understand this...Rockinronda starts a thread about Gov Palin and then reminds a poster, Gnu, who is posting about the subject of the thread that the election is about McCain and Obama. Of course there has to be the required sarcasm and fun poking,...I mean, what fun would it be without mocking ?

Hey Gnu, thanks for taking a stand. I totally agree with YOU. I see you're a Vietnam Vet...THANKS for being a veteran and for fighting for our County. I KNOW you went through "Hell" those years and many were spat upon when they returned....a national disgrace!!! However, I thank you, I admire you and I "gladly stand up next to you" (to quote Lee Greenwood)

GOD BLESS AMERICA, and McCain and Palin our next Prez and VP.

GNU, perhaps if you repeat this enough, you'll convince yourself. You clearly won't convince others.

Convince ? It is a statement of fact !

Does not mean she would be a better President or even Vice President, but what Gnu is saying is without a doubt a fact !

FACT (noun)

A thing that is indisputably the case.

I'm afraid this statement of Gnu's and yours, for that matter, just doesn't meet the criteria to qualify it as a fact. Nice try!
