Yeah, she even goes for the big game in Alaska. She shoots animals that can't protect themselves, using semi-automatic rifles from a helicopter. Oh, and by the way she spends $150,000. on a cloths shopping spree. OH WHAT A ROLE MODEL.

[QUOTE=oshunluva;168939]"Governor Palin is absolutely an inspiring role model for young women."

This is by far my favorite line. No doubt millions of young women want to have a husband who doesn't have a job and a daughter who is unmarried and pregnant at 17 and allegedly going to marry the 18 year old future father who is a high school dropout.

I can hear the inspired young women all over America saying, as they sit in their trailer parks, "wow, the Palins are just like us"!

Maybe, as osh has previously so eloquently stated in another thread, if they pray harder, things will just turn out great.

Well said! There no way I would want her as a role model for my daughter. In fact, my daughter has met her and say's she's even dumber in person.

Default Some where in several earlier posts....

some of you were referred to as self appointed elitists....well it sure comes through in this thread.
The only knowledge you have of the woman is what you see and hear on the media, yet you pontificate as though you had first hand knowledge.

Trailer parks are referred to with a negative connotation.
Now if some body said something about a black president or a black first lady the same of you would be all over that person.

How hypocritical especially with 33rd hand knowledge!!!

Amazing.

By the way I assume when a paramedic comes to save your butt you will want to know where they are from...right???

Hypocracy knows no limits.

How shallow.

I would not need to know where they're from, but I would love to know that they have the ability and knowledge to do their job properly. If that's shallow, so be it.

I think the ultimate is getting Palin on the ticket just to reeve up the conservative base. Whether she's qualified or not. Now that's shallow and that's why so many respected Republicans have stepped way from the McCain/Palin ticket.

I'm an Alaskan and very curious to what you mean by very important state?

Most Alaskan's feel we are more often The Forgotten State.

I believe I'm more familiar with Sarah Palin then most posters on this site and I certainly don't think of her as a good role model. She is a talented politician but is certainly not above petty politics and spiteful revenge as we Alaskan's know all to well.

I think if any Governor had the ability to give their residents a state handout of $1200.00 (this was in addition to our annual Permanent Fund Dividend of over $2000.00) they would have an 80% approval rating too. Of course her rating has been dropping lately. I have asked my co-workers and neighbors if they have been polled about Sarah Palin and none have. The majority of them are Republicans and pro Sarah, makes you wonder about those polls.

How insightful. Perhaps Billethkid could enlighten us pontificates, as to Sarah Palin's unique qualifications as role model for women of the United States.

Instead of role model, how about diva?? That description came right from a McCain aide.

It's becoming a train wreck!
