I was the same way. Problem with living in sin was the wife's parents are from Malta. They are more Catholic than the Pope. They were surprisingly understanding about my hesitation but not exactly thrilled with the living situation.

I agreed to go through all the church annulment and premarriage Catholic stuff so that made them real happy. Getting married by a Maltese priest was NOTHING but icing on the cake. lol
