Default Time out

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am new to this message board and was very much hoping to find a platform for some intelligent debate. Instead I am shocked to see the worst example of "debate" I have ever seen. Do not worry, I am leaving, but let me just leave you with an example. The original post on this thread simply pointed out that the GOP had an absolute LOCK on this election. With an unpopular sitting President, a less popular nominated candidate by the Dems, and a country wanting change, all the GOP had to do was select someone reasonable - Jeb, Mario or Kasich. Instead they allowed the right-wing extremists to choose the most unpalatable (to the swing voters like me who always hold the voting power) person imaginable, much to the horror of mainstream Republicans. This is an obvious fact now that the votes are being cast. Instead of examining the root cause and effect of this political dynamic, the whole thread devolved into a 6th grade wrestling match that never dealt with the original post. Is this really what all of you spend your time doing? Very sad.

You are right. I had hoped to get a Republican candidate that I could at least see as a reasonable alternative to Hillary Clinton. Trump trolled his way to the nomination feeding off of hate, fear, bigotry, and greed. Now I just have to vote for Hillary Clinton so that we do not have a pathological liar for President. Clinton lies once in a while; Donald Trump pretty much fibs all the time.

Not only are you 100% spot on in all your observations, I might add this...

Because of this disaster, it is extremely possible the party has already been taken over by these extremist (notice all the Alex Jones now being inserted into the dialogue)....should that be the case, it is also very feasible that the Democratic Party might enjoy All houses of government for. Long long time.

You need to be much more afraid of what Clinton did or does than what Trump says.

Let me see if I got this right.

If the republicans do or say somethig "bad", they will most likely lose the WH and both houses of congress.

WHEN the democrats do and say something bad they still win?

BS!

What Trump does is what scares me. A person who lies constantly gives you no idea what he or she will do in the future. And the President of the United States is the most powerful position in the world. Or, it seems to be.
