Think about that for a minute or two . It`s really pretty sad .
I moved here exactly because it is NOT Diverse . And I like it that way .
Now before you dear readers begin the typical Leftist name calling please understand that for nearly 40 years I was a corporate manager and for the last 20 years I was recognized many times by HR for running the most diverse organization in the entire company .
That said I hired , singled out for higher responsibilities and promoted based on MERIT . However I hired based on intelligence and potential with an eye toward diversity .
However in my retirement I want to quietly live among people who are like me .
FIRE AWAY LIBS --- FIRE AWAY ALL YE Judgmental SOULS ! All Ye Holier
Than Thou !
I had the nerve to say it !!
...........And the lack of diversity did not concern me when I was deciding to move here. One of the selling points was the general conservative political theme, the negligible crime, and the multitude of activities. That, coupled with being able to get anywhere in the Villages in a golf cart, convinced me that this is indeed a senior's Disney World.

And it did not bother me that both my next door neighbors were liberals. Everyone else in the community is conservative, less one or two homes out of 100 units.

You can have diversity, and you can move into a "diverse" neighborhood where ever you wish. I am fine here, and the lack of diversity does not tweak my guilt whatsoever.

And for that libtard that consistently calls us Tea Party, thanks for the compliment, even though I have never been to a TP meeting. Still, I do stand for their American values. I am sorry that the socialist on here is so needy of the government. Perhaps if his parents were a little bit more caring in his upbringing and didn't give him everything he wanted.

The whole diversity and lack of diversity is all so much BS!

How many when considering moving to TV even gave it two seconds of thought?

I venture none.

Second only to the number of people who asked how many of each party live here.
Virtually none.

Diversity is nothing more than mental masturbation for nose in the air wanna be intellectuals and politicians.

John 8:15
You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one.
Jesus had the nerve to say it.

Liberals, conservatives, and personality traits | Bleader | Chicago Reader

"The best predictor of party preference wasn’t any of the socio-demographic characteristics—it was the personality trait “openness,” which in the big five model means curious, original, intellectual, creative, and open to new ideas. Openness was tightly linked with voting for the liberal party. The second-best predictor was the personality trait “conscientiousness”—organized, systematic, punctual, achievement-oriented, and dependable. Those high in conscientiousness were likely to vote for the conservative party."

Now I ask you, would Jesus be a liberal or a conservative?

This is interesting too.

"A study in American Political Science Review in 2005 went further: its authors focused on identical and non-identical twins, and found that “political attitudes are influenced much more heavily by genetics than by parental socialization."

So maybe we have no control over how we think. What do you think?

I am 100% certain that I have given a great deal more in financial and time donations to charities of all types in my lifetime both in absolute numbers and as a % of my income .
Suggest that you consider sliding off your high moral horse . You must be a real bore to spend time with .
You don`t know what you don`t know .

How open minded of you! You hypocrite! You judge MORE than I do, and for LESS of a reason.

I know many liberals. I know many conservatives.

It may be distasteful, but it's certainly NOT wrong. How about some facts from you? Got any?

You venture wrong, I'd bet at least 90% thought it a big plus.

Depends on their color. You KNOW it's true so don't bother saying anything. Minorities moving into an area ALWAYS bring the prices down. We can argue about why, but not that it occurs.

Keep those prices UP!
