This is especially true now that a handful of Rino Republicans have decided to continue to play the Washington game so that nothing can be accomplished. The president understands that he's going to have to get some Democrats on his side in order to accomplish his goals and fulfill his promises to the American people. He also probably understands, much the way that President Reagan did, that he's going to have to give a bit in order to get something. If things go the way they have usually gone with Donald Trump, he will get a lot more than he gives.
