What's that noise in the background? Its getting louder and louder something about the criminal acts and threats to our national security resulting from Obama and Company's unmasking and leaking that information to the news.... shame on you Obama, same on you Susan Rice, same on you intelligence community..Trump Derangement syndrome is a terrible thing to catch.

Personal Best Regards:
Everything is Obama's fault. What a surprise coming from you!

The noise in the background is Trump trying to change the focus on all his stupidity, and his lying. It is working for the 38% of closed minded individual that believe everything he says.

Deepest Sincere Wishes:.
That is your take on it, but not the reality for most of us who did not like him as President. It had nothing to do with skin color - in fact, there where other African Americans who I would have gladly voted for if they had been on the ticket. It had everything to do with his politics, not skin color. If there were voters who actually felt that way, they were a small minority, but it seems easier for you to cast all of us in the same light. Because of this, it makes it difficult to have any sort of intelligent conversation with people of your mindset. This type of thinking, and lashing out at others in this manner, is the biggest reason for the great divide in our country. You leave no room for conversation and the sharing of ideas.

Sorry to the other posters for the digression from the topic at hand.

Well, his successor appears to come from what you say is a "small minority"

As a regular visitor here, you surely note many of the posts, either with an adjective in front (black) or in the post a reference o his race, or the race problem used as a measuring stick for him.

I object to most of what he did, but realistically know in my heart that the birther situation was racial. Our President held that view until a few months ago, and was very clear he was only "renouncing" his actions and words in a sarcastic manner. From that, I surmise he feels the same way now as he did on the birther thing AND the Central Park Five. I am simply referring to factual events not subject to interpretation

I can't speak for anyone on this forum, but I do know many people who voted against Obama and then for Trump and can honestly say not one of them is a racist. In fact, far from it, and that is my point. Just because one votes this way does not make them a racist. And yet some on this forum would have you think just that.

As far as Trump is concerned, I don't know him as well as you apparently do, but I'm willing to give him a chance to see what he can do for the country. I really don't care if the press like him or not, or if other countries like him or not, the question is what is he trying to accomplish for Americans. The only certainty I knew at election time was that I didn't want to go in the direction in which the other candidate wanted to lead us.

That is by far NOT just my take.

Just because your immediate universe doesn't have those types in it (taking you at your word), doesn't change the fact that all too many others DO feel that way.

Heck, just read the number of strong Trump supporters here who either constantly use the 'N' word or denigrate blacks/minorities generally...and you can quickly see that I'm not the one with my eyes closed.

It's fine with me that you didn't like Obama primarily because of his policies/actions...as that is the way it should be.

But please do not attempt to lecture about their not being a racist/bigot component regarding dislike of Obama...because too many others have shown that you're wrong.

Sorry, but now you're using a logical fallacy.

I haven't seen anyone saying that everyone who disliked Obama was a racist, so trying to say so...won't fly.

But I do know that all racists...voted against Obama.

And yet you're willing to close your eyes and pretend that those around the POTUS aren't being seriously investigated (or have had to recuse themselves) and that he, himself, most likely was behind the scene directing these people (surely you don't think they acted on their own?)...and that he tried to stop these investigations?

Whether it can actually be proved or not, given the absolute loyalty he demands...is another story.

But all that's OK with you...because you disliked Hillary so much?

I am not very adept at this and thus I come across as blunt..I prefer face to face interaction. I say that because either I was not clear or you are twisting my words into something.

First, I was trying to respond to your saying how non racial opinions of Obama are. I begin by telling you, race was a big issue, meaning the black voters voted for Obama because of his race, and I hate that fact.

I think you are being extremely naive when you speak of Trump. I will assume that you didn't mean to be sarcastic in your comment saying how I might "know" Trump better. I know him because I believe it is important to KNOW our candidates. When I was Bucco, I was attacked because I brought up Alinsky, harped on the Rev Wright his up bringing. If you did not do your due diligence on Trump, and you would not be alone, I say without being a wise guy....I did my homework, just as I did on Obama.

If, on this forum specifically, you cannot determine the racial animosity, you are not paying attention. If you had done ANY reading on Trump, his racial background leaps of the pages.

I will stop there because I think you are naive. Some of the posters on here don't hide it....some are sneaky about it, but it's there and visible.

If you had read Obama's books...his racism would have lept off the pages.

Trump is RIGHT to be racist...we should ALL be racist...because they ARE different than us. We are genetically different species. BLACKS are the "missing link...part human...but not quite all the way there. It's WHY they're always at the bottom economically and socially.

Didn't Obama let Puerto Rico nationalist Oscar Lopez Rivera go free?

I wonder how many of those Obama released early were white?

I'm not saying any of that is ok, IF PROVEN TO BE TRUE. As far as Hilary is concerned, I know people personally who worked in positions close to the Clinton's when Bill was President and they were adamant about her not being President, so it wasn't just that I didn't like her, it is what I knew about her that made voting for her impossible for me.

I agree.....face to face is better. I was not being sarcastic, just referring to previous posts where you mention your background knowledge on Trump and your long history of keeping up with him, etc. I have kept up with him to a lesser extent over the years so it's not that I didn't know anything about him, just probably not as much as you. Some of the background info about him I did find was negative, but I also came across positive stuff about him as well, so I was not walking into this thinking he was a bad person. I have admitted on here before that he was not my first choice for President, but any vote for someone else, once the primaries were over, would have been a vote for Hillary.......been there, done that before, and as per my previous post, in my mind Hillary for President would have been a disaster. Call me naive, but I do the best with what I know at a given time and I take personal, hands on information, especially from people I trust, much more seriously than anything I read.

Trump is clearly a racist. The whole birther movement was proof. As far as I'm concerned, anyone who supports Trump has racist tendencies as well.

You defend "people" who aren't.

WHERE are blacks as a whole successful? Where IS "their" villages? Their "Sweden or Germany"? Where is their Harvard or MIT? Where are their Newtons and Einsteins?

We are different species...we are different by 2-5% which is HUGE. As much as we're different from chimpanzees. STOP believing the lies...look at them...look at what they do...look at what that CAN'T do. Stop promoting them over the well being of your country.

Note to CNM and Rocky -

This poster just made my point! This is the kind of thing that I was saying is wrong. No, every person who voted for Trump or supports him now because he is the President, is NOT a racist.

A similar accusation is often used here for anyone who has any kind of agreement with Don B. I am not a racist because I occasionally agree with Don B or can find no arguments with his statistical data. What ever happened to individuality and the ability to evaluate another person's words/ideas without being labeled for doing so? Just because I don't like someone's stance on something or their ideology in general, doesn't mean I can't find something I might agree with them about.

I'll stop my rant there, but this is why I believe many people will not come on this forum. Too much nitpicking and name calling........it gets childish and becomes a waste of time because voices are shut down by this nonsense and not allowed to be heard. And that goes both ways!

I agree....so there

You will never hear me say "ALL" liberals, conservatives, Democrats, Republicans, women, blacks, whites or anything of that sort.

Consider me anti label !!

My angst is reserved for those who do label people followed by an attack. I am anti Trump, give reasons why and do not hide, BUT I do not in any way have a problem with someone who voted for him, other than an inability to defend him on issues and revert back to the election. To each his own but he is President now...no more campaigning....what he says on twitter or otherwise is said on behalf of all of us, thus my critique.
