Does that make you feel better? Hey, I thought you were on a TOTV vacation?
Try to keep up here. I simply can't stay away from your clever witticisms, sorry to disappoint you so, as your opinion is very important to me.

Boy Howdy.

This thread is toxic. It has even got some absolutely flawless people in trouble.

Didn't anyone elses mom lecture them about not talking about P or R?

I agree, Gracie. We all have our religious and political views. I try to avoid the issue whenever I can. But some people are attracted to controversy like metal to a magnet. At this point of my life, I want to enjoy every day I can.

I to was amazed by this but even though I am a proud Democrat I do have to say I think it began to go down hill on post 35. Up until then I was enjoying seeing what people thought without being rude or derogatory.

Gracie if the R or D was excluded from some posters vocabulary they would not have a single thing to talk/rant/rail about.

We all waited to see when the line was crossed and no mystery by who.

momesu: I agree it was a good post because we learned what type of person voters felt made good presidents. Buggyone felt it would be moved to the political forum and I said not if people stick to naming their favorite three presidents. Its obvious that if the Dems could find another Truman and the Republicans another Reagan why then the presidential race would be a shoe-in for them. The nicest thing about it is we would all be winners because both these guys were did well by America

Default Three Best Presidents

Truman - Yes because they are still using the purple hearts that they would have used in the invasion of Japan.

Ike - The economy would have grown anyway. We were the only guy on the block left standing.

JFK - Yes The Cuban Missile Crisis was kept from spiraling out of control.

Johnson - No President by default

Nixon - Yes everyone agreed that he was brilliant. and if he was a crook, he was a damn poor one.

Ford by default

Carter - brilliant man but couldn't handle everything by himself and didn't have a talented staff.

The Rest - presided over the slow decline of the Middle Class

Except for Johnson, Ford and Carter I kind of liked your comments on your picks. Leaving out Reagan is a huge omission, even if you're a union man like me. Good overall, though.
