Clearly, that is not what the data shows.

Why are more and more homes being in and around the Villages - so fast?

Increasing CO2 I would imagine.

If not that, then perhaps a very large group of people are hitting retirement age. These would be the people born right around 1960 before the declining birthrate due to CO2 took hold. Developer has to take advantage of the situation now before the bottom drops out.

The question for homes is how long the building can continue when the number of retirees drops off. This is the same as the question of how Social Security will continue with fewer and fewer workers paying in to the program due to declining birthrate due to increasing CO2.

Default proposal for Ric's Law - December 7, 2024

proposal for
Ric's Law: "The first person to use the word 'denier' in an argument automatically loses."

inspired by a corollary to Godwin's Law (paraphrased); 'the first person to use the 'h' word in an argument automatically loses."

edit: add "flat-earth meetings" to the list

No thank you. Been to enough of those flat-earth meetings already.

Honestly, the weather club had some interesting presentations up until a couple of years ago. Since then, too many sessions are simply echo chambers for climate change denial.

If you have data proving man-made CO2 harms our climate then bring it on. Otherwise, there is no climate crisis - just climate alarmism - and you know it because you're living it. In the meantime, after each talk - the Weather Club gains more and more members.

Counting "likes" as a measure of belief..... "Wicked" is setting records for box office sales, I guess that means there are a record number people who believe in green witches and munchkins?

Galileo spent many of his last years in house arrest because of his theory about the earth not being the center of the universe.

as judged by the "Intelligencia" of the day; 'the scientific community.'

Soon after publishing; 100 scientists concurred that A. Einstein's Theory of Relativity was wrong.
Einstein's reply to his inner circle - paraphrased; 'Why 100? It only takes one to prove me wrong.'
(btw: Einstein never got a Nobel Prize for any of his work.)

OK! Science, better Healthcare, medicine, none of that makes any difference, right? Longer lifespans are the result of global warming and increasing CO2? OMG! I never new that. 🤭😄😁

🤸*♂️🤸*♀️ Global Warming! Global Warming! Sis-Boom-Ba! Pump up the CO2 and turn the world into a SPA! Yeah!
