Talking Very Satisfied

My cart runs with more power now, about the same speed, maybe a little faster, but it maintains the speed now. The installer told me their BMS is actually 250 amps continuous, but they advertise it as 200 amps. Max discharge is 400 amps for 30 seconds and 600 amps for a peak discharge of 3 seconds.

Talking Great Mileage

So far, I have no complaints, great mileage, more than double what I had. My neighbor just ordered his battery from these guys for his EZGO.

Update, all good with the new lithium battery. Only needed to charge battery once, great mileage. My neighbor is ordering one for her Star cart.

great! but a double from what? from 5 to 10 wasn't worth it.

you took my comment out of content, so let me clear this up. Until now I hadn’t driven it far enough to get actual mileage with the new battery. I have started actually recording my mileage and believe I now passed 54 miles and the battery is at 27% charged. I can probably go farther down to 20% but going to charge today. 😇

You might look at your battery manual as most will tell you to not let the battery get past 20 percent. Also, it does not hurt to charge after each use even if a small drive as there is no need to let it drop down near empty and then charge.

ABC

Always Be Charging

EXCEPT you leave for several months. . then disconnect the charger, and the battery doesn't drain with everything off.

Yes, I agree, but wanted to see how long it would take to charge from 20%.

Those numbers don't really mean that much. 400 amps for 30 seconds is way more that enough to rapidly get your cart up to speed from a full stop. Even the 200 amps continuous is plenty. Electric carts draw about 40 amps (at 51.2v) to maintain a speed of 20 mph on a flat surface. So your new Li battery is easily capable of the every-day realistic golf cart operations.

All still good, love my new E-TECH Battery. Cart has great power now going up hills.
The company contacted me about their new remote on/off button that can be mounted outside the battery box, no more lifting seat to reach power button. I scheduled the upgrade.
