Default Finally, a dog.

This is the first dog I had to identify. It looked like a Sheltie or perhaps a Collie.

This goes until the 19th of December.

for those people who would like to help some of our local rescue groups in the villages there is going to be a scavenger hunt on Dec.18th at 10am. It will run from Petco to Spanish Springs. the cost of donation is $5.00. All people who enter will get goody bags with the winner receiving a gift card. All donations collected will be divided between 2 of our great rescue groups. early sign ups are being taken now. stop into Petco with any questions. Please help now as this is a hard time for these groups to make it .thanks for all your generosity that the villages always show.

For those of us not up for a scavenger hunt, can you provide info if we wish to make a charitable donation to the rescue groups?

Last year my wife and I decided not to give each other Xmas presents primarily because if we want or need anything we buy it anyway. We thought it would be a good idea to make a Xmas donation to a charity of our choice. I decided my gift would be to the Sumter County Humane Society and will continue that donation this year. Just a thought!!!

That is a lovely tradition John .. what Christmas is all about .. giving to the needy. Thanks for the suggestion. There are so many genuinely needy groups, but also some con artists out there! I always like to know that with a donation, the money is actually getting through to the needy and not taken up by admin fees.

Smile Another Way to Help

The Lady Lake Food Pantry has a Pet Ministry.
They will gladly accept food, pet related items and cash donations.
So keep your eye out for sales and bogos, pick up a few extras and drop them off at the pantry.
All donations greatly appreciated.

Meow, Ruff Ruff
(Thanks)

Does anyone know where the drop off is located for The Lady Lake Food Pantry (Pet Ministry)?

Have not a clue Barefoot but this should bring it back up to the attention of pet lovers.

New contest starts today. I already voted with a picture of a fox.
